Is Tony Abbott true blue Aussie

People who try to be independent observers are a bit confused regarding identity of Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott.
He was born in London and migrated in Australia with British parents. Also it is known that he hasn't renounced his British citizenship.
Following John Howard's policy he is against multiculturalism and pro republican policy in Australia.
The question is: Is Tony Abbot really true-blue Aussie or, beside the British queen, just another Pom who rules Australia.
Or perhaps, because of Tony Abbott, the definition of true blue Aussie should be re-examine, this time from multicultural point of view.

Do we need to be always politically correct.
In the world of universal deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
