some interesting answers here. Can no one see the danger in allowing pedophiles to reinforce and normalise their behaviour by using these dolls?

The guy obviously has a problem, I would think that denying him an outlet for his issue may be more likely to push him toward the real thing.

Really it should come down to if he has hurt someone or is an imminent danger. That is why we have laws, not because someone is a bit strange or because we may be disgusted or creeped out by them. I don't care if any of you play with dolls, it's not something the govt should worry about either.

If you had kids in a block of flats & that creep was living next to you
would you be worried?

Oh dear, I've brought up three sons, youngest is almost 20. How would I know what my neighbour does? Why should I know? Why would I want to? No, I was never paranoid that a doll fiddler lived next door, imagine that.

Unless you snooped into his bed/toy room, you'd never know Sir Bobby.

True, and if you never knew you were living next door to a convicted pedo you would never know.  But if you found out would you be a bit unhappy about it or be all done his time, done his crime, accepting?

I think it's the right of all Australians to know the height of their neighbours toys. We should hold neighbourhood open days. How tall is yours? How long have you had it, is it easy to keep clean?

There a more people out there with predatory inclinations not just paedophiles.

We have laws covering any behaviour deemed illegal.

What someone does in the privacy of their home is no ones business.

There are many people with kinky sexual fetishes....

You better round them all up as well.

It's a load of BS .... Unless he breaks the law ... & who says he will... It's a non issue.

Maybe we should prevent people drinking alcohol because it conditions/causes people to do stupid & illegal things... Including child sexual abuse.

Wanting to have sex with little kids is a "kinky fetish"?

Drag your sick arse out the back as well.
