Weird on both sides. Weird for wanting one and weird for authorities thinking they are kids that will be abused.

Weird that child sex dolls are even made.

The story says fighting charges. What exactly would the charge be?

I don't really see a problem with it.....if he sticks to the doll, at least kids aren't being abused by him.

It would be a good thing if rapists stuck to the dolls too. No one is getting hurt, although I feel a bit sorry for the dolly, the sex police must too.

As an aside, I once worked with a bloke that used watermelons for sex, he said it felt the same as a woman lol!!!!!!....I never put my fruit in the tea room fridge again.

If you read the article there apparently is a law referring to child sex material ?

I find this strange and unsettling, rather outrageous.

I would think that for someone with this problem it is a better solution than the real thing. I suppose the other side of the argument is that this could lead to real attacks on children. I do not know if that would be true.

Better ban all sex toys & porn then as well.

for goodness sake if it saves one child from being a victim of a paedophile/sexual abuse then what's the problem?

Too many wankers in positions of authority trying to justify their existence.

What if the bloke was a dwarf & wanted something more to his stature?

Too many "what ifs"

What if he was a teacher of one of your children? Would you feel comfortable with that?

What if he was a priest?

I really don't know whether the doll would provide a harmless outlet or encourage them to progress to the real thing. That one I would have to leave to the psychology experts.

Now that the police and security agencies have all these extra powers it shouldn't be too hard for them to keep such a person under surveillance. Perhaps even keep them in secret detention without charge.

No - banned.  My question is :-  What kind of utterly warped mind would come up with such a doll?

Another cheap Asian import?  A global economy where anything goes... well, I suppose we all knew that already....

It's the shared fruit bowl you need to be concerned about, some think of it as an orgy.

As I said - too many what ifs.... & too many assumptions.

If it was all done in the privacy of their own home who would give a ferk?

No ones business but their own.

As for secret detention & surveillance - already happening isn't it?

some interesting answers here. Can no one see the danger in allowing pedophiles to reinforce and normalise their behaviour by using these dolls?

Having some sort of experience with a plastic doll is 'normalising?'  Yeas?

It is not something I'd do at all, let alone 'normally.'  Anyone else?
