There is another bubble that is going to burst in Australia within the next few years when the SHTF worldwide:

FEMINISM

It will disappear together with democracy and welfare. Over will be the times, when women automatically get provided everything they need unconditionally. Australia was a women's paradise for a long time. Government has coerced men into paying tax to pay welfare to women, even those the men had absolutely no relation too. And without getting anything in return.

I cannot count how many work mates I had in my lifetime, who were good, hard working men, but couldn't find a woman. Not because there weren't enough single women around, but the women had everything they needed, provided to them by the tax payers (mostly men). So the women became spoiled. Instead of comforting a good husband they chose to stay single and have occasional NSA flings with machos.  And the poor blokes spent their nights alone after a hard day's work and even had to cook their own dinner, and lunch for the next day too. 

You only have to go to Asia and see how the lack of welfare changes the women's attitudes.  Western men, frustrated with the arrogant 'I-don't-need-a-man' attitude of Western women have gone to Asia to find real feminine women. But the way things are heading, they won't need to go to Asia for much longer.

The financial crisis has brought down prostitute rates in Europe to record low levels. As far down as 25 bucks a pop, I heard. And there are signs that young women increasingly cling onto good men for long term security. The tides are turning. Feminism is doomed. Once the nations go bankrupt and the welfare systems shut down, Western women will be running after men just to get food and a roof over their head.
