You have to remember that if all people were trustworthy, there wouldn't be a need for surveillance.
Like cods said, you don't have to worry about it if you have nothing to hide. I understand the right to privacy though... for instance, experienced computer buffs have technology that enables them to access your webcam and look into it, viewing your end from theirs. This sort of thing makes me angry, as well as hackers in general. Simple solution to the webcam thing, though: disable it. I don't have any reason to have it on, I don't have family/friends overseas to communicate with, etc.
I would love to be a fly on the wall when they hack into ozpol....

my emails are just as boring..its hard to believe so many dull uninteresting people out there...makes me glad I am not a hacker or understand anything about this bloody thing..
whats a webcam? can I rip it off or do I have to click
usb.. whatever that is...
if anyone is watching me free.. then good luck to them...
watching paint dry would be more exhilarating
If you own a laptop that has come out in, roughly, the last 5 years, then chances are there will be a built in webcam, that usually sits smack bang in the middle, but above your laptop's screen.
I wouldn't suggest ripping it out with your bare hands

you can usually disable it through the "control panel" section of your computer. Or you can simply uninstall the software that fuels it.
If you have one of those old school PCs, though, you don't have to worry. If you want a webcam, however, you have to go out and buy one which can be connected via a USB cord.
