You know who you are - and the bare faced fabrications and lies you concoct to smear islam. I expect it from the clearly mentally ill people here (not mentioning any names), but from the people who spend all day every day grandstanding about how immoral islam is, and (by inference) how morally upstanding the values they represent are in comparison, the hypocrisy is simply breathtaking.

You've got to not let it get to you, Gandalf. Nothing you say will make the people on this board who hate and fear Islam and Muslims reconsider their hate and fear. Just keep in mind that they're not representative of the wider population and that this is a time of heightened sensitivity for anyone with an emotional stake in what's going on at the moment.

What is necessary is for Muslims to realise that the fear and hate is not without reason, is not random. There is no fear and hate of many, many other groups and religions.
Refusing to see that Islam has fought itself to the position it finds itself in is stupid. It has to be repeated: the serial dissembling, denial and mendacity concerning the malign elements of Islamic theology and the prophet’s character must cease.
Islam will continue to be viewed with suspicion and fear and loathing until Muslims are able to face those malignancies.
Christianity has done it and is continuing to do it, Judaism ditto. Islam must also do it unless it wishes to remain feared and hated until its final victory    when all will have to submit to it.
