Well, on the one hand I would not necessarily disagree with your initial point. However, I am quite suspicious that you only notice one person's (mod or otherwise) intolerance on this board.

As to "is this the norm", well as far as intolerance goes, it certainly borders on it, I would respectfully suggest you may be exhibiting more than a little intolerance yourself...

I don't know much about the goings-on in Oz Politics, but I've always been given at least a fair-go by members and mods

Oz Politics seems to suffer far less punitive and restrictive moderation than the vast majority of mod-run online forums, imo

Maybe if you illustrate your point, OP, we might have a clearer idea of what you refer to

I'll put my soul on this- I've been on these website for about 4 years and I've seen many people who question things like multiculturalism banned. And year after year the same ultra left wing abusers still here. Why have a forum and be a moderator if you can't stomach different opinions.

I will risk it. Let's face it, in line with some of your own observations, it won't really matter whether or not I am, if I disagree with certain view points, I will be labelled one and if I disagree with other certain viewpoints I will be labelled as not one...
