Moderators Intolerance
Sep 26th, 2014 at 6:13pm

I have noticed from afar that a certain mod is intolerant of others viewpoints. Is this the norm.

He appears to have lots of sock puppets or favoured co posters that seem to be above all rules.

Why do you tolerate such an intolerant person?

The Golden Rule about Moderation of a Member Run Board is pretty simple.....if you don't like it......don't post there.  If you are referring to a Global Moderator, you'll have to be much more specific, and ~ 'get yer glad rags orf.'

Maybe you should produce the evidence!

But of course we require a serious number of topics and replies to support your claims!

If one produces evidence it appears you are banned by the global mod.

Should posters be able to ban mods for say racism/religious or indeed any difference that they are opposed to, or is it a case of "Fahrenheit 451"

Not here, you won't be.  I am the Mod here, and GMs are expected to stay out of the Member Run Boards.

But, if you want to be critical of a Global Mod., (that's fine) do so using your real tag.  No anonymous sniping here, thanks.

Knowing that they are insignificant little bitches makes me happy enough.

I don't want them banned: I want everyone to see how pathetic they are.

Nope..it really is a case of their way or the highway...
This forum is owned by Freediver (who I would guess is the 'certain mod' you are referring to), so Freediver's rules do trump any opinions you or the rest of us may have..Which is not really a problem for most of us, since normal people understand the 'my house my rules' concept.

A certain un-named mod has recently used their power to delete

ordinary posts because he/she doesn't like the poster -

not because the posts violated any rules.

Harden up a bit.

Unless the Moderator (or anyone!) is just posting 'insults' via swearing, abuse and really nothing constructive or witty at all - then that's where being banned should come in.

There are always more than one right answer.
I totally disagree with a number of Members and Mods, but I respect their views because they come from a different world of experience, etc.

Cheer up, chill out and role with the punches.  Wink
