When figures are put up as fact, which happens a lot with some here, the subject is not really the issue.

ORGANISERS claimed 30,000.  police stated 3,000

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

The main People’s Climate March rally was held in Melbourne on Sunday, with Victoria police estimating at least 10,000 attended. Organisers put the figure closer to 20,000, with families, young people and the elderly making the most of the sunshine to urge the prime minister, Tony Abbott, to do more to tackle climate change.

May I suggest that you include links when you post in future???

the supplied OP stated 30,000 which we know is ALWAYS wrong when it comes from the organisers.  and crowd estimates are pretty close to useless at the best of times and mean about the same.

Perhaps you should have looked for another source, instead of ehrowing up your usual BS.

And yet you threw in a load of crap, (ORGANISERS claimed 30,000.  police stated 3,000)  hoping noone would pick you up on it.

the supplied OP stated 30,000

Actually the OP said nothing of the sort....

Get Up is a carbon reduction troll!  Get Up could not be more opposed to green energy than coal is!

Look at what Get UP proposes to see why the punter is being turned off pursuing green energy or even an interest in a changed climate wiping out our food sources.

Thousands attend Brisbane climate march      Smiley

Date
    September 21, 2014

Thousands of people from across Brisbane have taken part in a massive global demonstration calling for climate action.

The People's Climate March is an international day of climate action, coinciding with the Ban Ki-Moon Emergency UN Climate Summit in New York, culminating in 2500 marches in 160 countries.

The Brisbane March was organised by The Australian Youth Climate Coalition and Getup as part of a global movement pushing for action on climate change ahead of an emergency UN summit on climate change policy.

"It's my generations future  on the line, that's why we're here in Brisbane calling on our leaders to protect our future, by moving Australia beyond coal and gas and investing in renewable energy," said Kirsty Albion of the AYCC.

"The people here today are on the right side of history and we need our leaders, especially Prime Minister Tony Abbott to side with us."

Maules Creek Campaigner Murray Drechsler said "coal expansion not only threatens our climate, it threatens our land, our water, and our communities".

"In my local community of  Maules Creek we've been fighting coal expansion that threatens our way of life and that's why today I'm standing with millions of people from all across the world to implore our world leaders to end the age of coal, and protect our communities," Mr Drechsler said.

Im surprised that that 100 people found the time to waste their time on a broken and debunked agenda.

Uh huh

Those who post in free online forums in support of junk science like 'climate change' are called Posters for Pay
