What do you think that flag represents? It is another symbol they use to entice young gullible recruits and to spread their poised doctrine throughout the Islamic world. It should be banned (as the nazi flag should be banned) and anybody flying that flag should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The notion that a flag is just a rag at the top of a flagpole is naive to say the least.

Funny you should mention naivety.

When you say, "anybody flying that flag should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law", which Act are you referring to and what would the charge be?

Yes.

It symbolises cowardly murderers.

What do you think banning it will do: stop them from murdering?

It's always possible to make such a law and specify what can be banned and prosecuted...  such a move has wider ramifications though..... including the response of some to such a move against them.. and the possibility of.. say.. banning the Grappler Banner etc as a some sort negative thing.......

I have no problems if these knob heads seek to publicly advertise their allegiances, they can drape themselves in as much jihadist jewellery as they like as as far I am concerned.  Easier to identify that way.

As an aside is it the usual luvvie collective protesting the rights of a group of freedom fighters to display their flag the usual collective that routinely whinges about bogans wearing the national flag and agitating that the flag be changed due to its associated symbolism?   Cool

Truly I will never understand the outlook of a committed sandalista, the contradictions and hypocrisy must be hard to keep straight, maybe the swivveling and rolling eyes help?

"More than half of Australians support military intervention against terrorist group IS.

A Newspoll of 1207 people found 70 per cent of men are in favour of government action, with 54 per cent of women also in support.

The poll also found 62 per cent of Australians are happy with the federal government's action so far, including providing weapons and humanitarian aid to forces fighting Islamic State (IS) militants.

In contrast, about 25 per cent were opposed and 13 per cent were uncommitted.

Men aged over 50 were found to be those largely in support of military action.

Australia has not committed to sending troops as yet, with the government waiting on a specific request from Washington before agreeing to involvement in a US-led effort to train Iraqi forces fighting IS."

Why do I doubt the integrity of this survey?

I slam, you slam - we all slam Islam....

I try to restrict myself to the radical guilty Islamites with their chariots of hate.... sweeping down like an Assyrian wolf on the fold.... the trouble is that such people consider anyone who simply wants to go about life in a peaceful manner to be an easy mark... then they are found by drones....

Bomb 'em all - let Allah sort 'em out!
