I've never bought a modem and just use the free ones my Telco sends me. I didn't have this problem with my previous computer, but I might look into it. Since I've had this new computer - there have been a lot of problems I haven't encountered before.

I'm almost totally PC illiterate, and this won't improve with time. My memory is way too bad for me to increase my knowledge on these things.

I had a problem with my memory too ... gruelling night shift just decimated what was left of my brain lol...and it took me months to catch up on sleep...it was a real problem..but better now thankfully. I couldnt find my car keys everyday for work same old thing..then I developed a technique that I call...imprinting..and that works 100%..of course putting them on the hook marked car keys was very useful as well....but that technique works for everything..no matter how tired you are.

You can't be serious.

A shower at the end of the day is an absolute 'must' in a country that has a burning sun, summer and winter as it is here.

It's not about washing the dirt off ... it's about washing the sweat off your body.

That's why thousands of European migrants return home for good each year ... because of the Great Australian SWEAT that sticks your clothes to your body, and coats your exposed parts in a sebaceous oil that attracts flies, mosquitoes, fleas, gnats, lice, and other crawling insects. Cool
