Abbotts been at the helm for 10 months now .... why is he PM if labor is still responsible for everything?

Perhaps YOU should ask the GALP why they won't let the elected government govern?

No Labor were not going to scrap the fixed carbon price - they were going to replace it with a CTS, they have offered to still support this change if the Libs are interested.

The Liberals introduced a bill to remove the carbon price mechanism - they have not introduced legislation which has anything to do with carbon tax. I see no reason why I should not refer to the policy by using the actual real name of the policy.

She was arguing that it wasn't a tax a month after the election with Alan Jones. She later conceded that it was effectively a tax.

i.e when she agreed with the Greens to implement a fixed carbon price she didn't really believe that it was a tax, when she was interviewed by Jones she didn't believe it was a tax.

Someone had obviously explained to her why it was a tax later, not many people actually understand why it is a tax except for the sustained media campaign insisting that it was. It isn't a tax in the same way that Abbott's suggested carbon tax is a tax - it is very different which is one place the confusion came from. It was never a tax paid by anyone in the general community.

Nobody posting here ever paid one cent of carbon tax, In fact nobody ever paid one cent of carbon tax to the tax office.

It could have and should have been implemented to not be a tax.
