Educational equality is the only way to truly achieve social justice

we have a world class free education and free health system so EVERYONE starts off on a level playing field.
If you don't have the drive , guts, determination and work ethic to succeed, my advice to you is, stop f**king whinging and get to work.
Gina is rich because her daddy got off his arse and worked hard.
Anyone can get off there arse and be the next lang hancock and establish a dynasty. I doubt lang got past grade 7 at school , so maybe the hard work, risk, drive and guts is more important than the education.
Plenty of over educated twats flipping burgers out there and driving taxis full of  successful businessmen to the airport

If it feels like the rich are getting richer and the majority of Americans are falling behind, well…that’s because it’s true!

A new study published by the Russell Sage foundation found that wealth inequality in America roughly doubled between 2003 and 2013.

http://web.stanford.edu/group/scspi/_media/working_papers/pfeffer-danziger-schoeni_wealth-levels.pdf

In 2003, the top 20% Americans had 13 times more wealth than the median household. By 2013, this gap nearly doubled to 24 times.

Yes, that’s right, the inequality gap doubled in 10 years!  Double the pleasure! Double the fun…especially for the wealthy!

The upside of an expanding wealth gap is that means there’s more money for the ‘haves’ to leave to their kids when they go to that great country club in the sky.

instead of this insane jealousy of the rich , has it ever occurred to you to try to join them.

as a rich person, I still get most enjoyment from just having a quiet day, cutting lantana with my dog and my horse. I spend nothing. I suppose that's why i'm rich  Wink Wink Wink

I'm a Fiat Slave, And So Are You: Fiat money is at base a form of indirect wealth transfer from those forced to hold the money to those issuing the money.

What is being considered wealth here, is ultimately the proceeds of crime derived through access to and participation in corrupt system. The market or economy is the administration of spoils gained through organised crime and military conquest. While they may have good intentions, most wealthy people are benefitting from the proceeds of crime and affiliation with criminal networks.

You gotta be in it to win it

What does that even mean? Roll Eyes

oh winnie, it means you don't like the system , but, guess what, its the only game in town, so you had better start playing Wink

better shutdown oz politic then as no discussion shall be tolerated  Cool

again, you would be showing very little intelligence if you thought the system was going to change because someone has a tantrum on an internet forum. Wink

We are the system!

Buyer and seller and voter: it's all us!

You have a curious idea of a what a tantrum is  Grin

quite right, we are the system, this system has created wealth inequality.
it always seems to be the people at the bottom end of the wealth scale  who are bitching.

If you play AFL and someone else is bigger and more athletic then you, bad luck, you lose, that's the football system. go to the gym , bulk up , train harder.

If you play "the current economic system, the only game in town" and theres someone more successful then you, bad luck, you lose, educate yourself, train harder, work harder.

What you don't do is have the whimpy little guys look at the AFL players and say

"boo hoo, theres athletic ability inequality, how dare they be so superior to me"
if you do, you be a sore loser and not much of a realist Wink

What you don't seem to have understood yet, is that you are basically advocating social Darwinism through economics. An outlook that has been completely dubunked as having no basis in reality and is understood to be an ignorant, fallacious argument in the service of vested interests. The fact that you keep parrotting it here, as the basis for your position in many of your posts, demonstrates a total lack of understanding of the subject, or more probably a complete disconnection from reality. I have exposed how morally and intellectually bankrupt you are, to which you have only responded with idealogical thought bubbles and slogans.

Oh winnie, don't be a numptie,

Lets say lang hancock hadn't developed the pilbarra and made gina a billionaire.

how does that benefit the poor?
it doesn't, not one iota.
Gina recently sold her gallilie coal project to the Indians for 3 billion.
That's 3 billion coming into Australia from india.
Now treat gina nicely and she'll spend every cent of it here. maybe she'll buy a footy team like Nathan tinkler, maybe she'll build casinos like Kerry packer (and get rich Asians to unload even more money for all those helpless numpties).
It doesn't matter, she aint going to be buried with it , so one way or another, its going to recycle.
the only bad outcome is if the asinine brainless numpties keep hating on the rich and the rich say
f**k you, i'm off to the caymans with my loot.
And who would blame them.

leftards are such short sighted losers in this regard.
its just money, go get some. it aint rocket science.
theres so much of it around in OZ , if you aint getting any, you need to change your strategy.
its like sex, theres plenty around, an unlimited amount. if your getting none, you are using the wrong strategy. stop whinging, give yourself a makeover and get out there. what wont work is whinging about it.
$$$$ can spot a whiney a mile off and the $$$$ is repelled by negativity

Apparently both you and the majority suffer from the delusion that shareholders have much to say about how large public corporations are run.

I am not rich, but quite ok thanks.
My satisfactions are a bit more expensive.
Riding to the coffee shop with my wife on our bicycles. Having a coffee and reading the horoscopes to each other.
We lash out and have a coffee each !

Playing bridge ($5 a night unless I am directing or running classes, then it is free).

I often find people who are right winged politically are more self reliant. More go-getters, forthright, achievers, capable and happy.

Its not waffle my friend,
I am trying to mentor you Wink
seriously, when lefties look at rich people they get it all wrong.
its all about attitude.
being negative about the wealthy will repel wealth.
associate with rich people , embrace them, study them , learn from them.

if you were a fatty, would it help you to hang out with fatties all day.
no way.
hang out with athletes, emulate them, copy them, learn from them.

you, my friend , are too negative.

Nope, in private they are just as scared and vulnerable as everyone else.

I think it's the result of a traumatised ego in early life.

P.S - Just to further elaborate, I think the 'left' is a naturally more inclusive, 'treat others as you would be treated' mentality. The 'right' is more about identifying 'us' and 'them' to be treated accordingly. The 'left/right' mentality worldview is juvenile in the extreme, the 'left' wouldn't exist without the 'right' and is more of a reaction to what the 'right' is; accumulated methods of bullying and social domination based on ignorance, violence and bullying.

Total frog-droppings.
Gina Greedy won't even stash her millions here, they are in the tax free places like the Caymans etc, and she spends SFA here in Oz.
Trickle-down theory was debunked decades ago, as was the idea that the wealthy acquired that wealth through hard work, it's utter twaddle.
The opportunity for the average Australian to simply "get some" is almost totally absent, the system is rigged against them from the off, anyone who claims otherwise is either delusional or a liar.
