Oh and I have done a few of the proper tests in the past. The online one was only about a tenth the real size, from memory.
Most interesting test I did was a few years back, where there were 4 dominant personality types and the tests would put you mainly in one category, with a sub-type.
The interesting part of it was it then went on to analyse what made you tick, so to speak, and how to deal with someone who had that predominant personality type.
So we were given the papers on all 4 types.
I was a C personality (which means objective type).
Facts matter a lot to me (according to the notes and also according to the current test on here).
But what was a real education to me was to find that presenting facts to some other types was the worst of all possible moves if I wanted to win someone over to my point of view.
There are some who work more for what they see will be socially good for the group. The peacemakers I guess. Others who are big picture people.
So if you want to win over a person, you need to know their type and word your arguments towards their needs, not your own.
The other interesting thing is that a committee or leadership group will work
much better if you have a mixture of types in it, not too many of any one category.
Every type has its strengths and weaknesses.
