Guidelines for posting images of dead people?
Mar 30th, 2014 at 3:50pm

For the second time in a week, I have seen a photograph depicting a dead human body. I find this disturbing and entirely unnecessary to the context of any discussion I wish to participate in on this forum. Can we have some clear guidelines from the moderators regarding this issue?

Here's the latest one:

It's OFFICIAL - you can call him a FAGGOT

I'm with FD on this.

Unlike the previous pic referred to, which had nothing to redeem it whatsoever, this
is a pic of something which did, historically, happen regularly.

While it may be considered in poor taste, depending on context, it is not, in and of
itself, offensive, although the act it portrays most certainly is.

No, I'd let this one go through to the 'keeper too.

Because this forum is supposed to be for political discussion, not posting pictures of dead bodies. Sad

A photograph of dead people hanging from the brances of trees is certainly in poor taste and definately not in context with 21st century Australian politics.

only thing you can do winnie... is look and move on..it is confronting but you dont have to return
to the thread....sometimes this gets the message across..

a few find the need to use pics of a certain nature to get attention...if they are suggesting we still have a lynch mob  mentality..perhaps its them that has that problem... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

There is no why.

Seriously though, it's called making a call. Making a judgement - a ruling.

That's what all mods have to do sometimes. You can't always please everybody.

In this case, I do beg to differ.

Either you didn't read the bulk of the comment, or you ignored it.
