Herbicide resistant weeds

There is going to have to be some changes by Councils around the country as more and more weeds become resistant to herbicides.

Glyphosate is almost universally used by councils because of its low toxicity which is useful when spraying on roadsides and anywhere near Hippies.
I wonder why we have to have clear roadsides, probably a line of sight safety thing.
Slashing weeds is a great way of spreading weeds for miles and it involves machines near roads , another safety issue.

I have found an insect that eats Fleabane (another herbicide resistant weed) perhaps we have to keep searching for more insects.
