Nasty coming on the back of the last stretch of hot weather only a week ago.

I have made a mistake about Abbott.  I thought he was just an opportunist using the carbon tax as a tool to get into office.

But his hatred of science and renewables seems be genuine and knows no bounds.

This is far more dangerous.

Yes a war against science—churches have never like science. Against a woman controlling her own fertility—lots of kids to grow up in the church, dumb as rocks, believing whatever their pastor tells them.

Churches have found allies in the right. The right would love the electorate dumbed down, believing everything their pastors tell them, incl to vote for the right.

Science links tobacco smoke to cancer and emphysema, hurting the tobacco industry. Fossil fuel interests have seen what tobacco industry did, started a fake grass roots movement (“astroturf”) to cast doubt on the science of AGW. Churches just love sick, ignorant, poor populations which fill their pews and collection bowls.

A third front in this insidious war on science—business calling for the worker to be trodden down, unable to stand up for fair pay, for workplace safety etc.

Is Tony Abbott about to appoint IPA to renewables review?

By Giles Parkinson on 28 January 2014

Tell me #, is your hypocrisy a natural thing, or did you learn it from environmentalism sites??/

On the one hand you constantly accuse Anthony Watts and others of being paid advocates (with no proof), and then you turn around and consistently link articles from a site that IS IN FACT a paid advocacy site....

If I post a picture of an abandoned fukishima, does that mean all nuclear is useless. ?

If I post a picture of an abandoned coal fired power station, does than mean all coal power stations are useless ?
