It will.
It seems the only territorial integrity and sovereignty there concerned about is there own funnily enough.
They can oppose the turn back policy till they go blue in the face.
It's this countries policy.

Our heavily armed military ships of war sailing in Indonesian waters in the execution of illegal non-military activity is comparable to leaky wooden tubs containing humanity sailing to Australia how exactly?

We oppose their policy of letting Indonesian boats breach Australian territorial waters.

It's not good for our relationship and more and more Australians are thinking less and less of Indonesia because of this blatantly unneighbourly if not outright hostile and unjustifiable policy by Indonesia.

I wonder how we knew we had done it "on several occasions?"  I wonder how we knew that they knew we had done it on several occasions......and so we 'fessed up first?

If it is of such insignificance, as some here suggest, why is our Chief of Defence, Morrison and Bishop eating Indonesian dick right now?

It isn't Indonesian policy or the Indonesian government doing it.

Morrison and Bishop eating Indonesian dick right now?

Maybe that is why they did it - for the opportunity.

Exactly.

This is a pretty silly argument.

It is not and never has been the Indonesian governments policy to send asylum seekers out to sea on leaky fishing vessels.

Because they are honourable and because there is no point in covering up. Also, we want to model to Indonesia how a mature, law-governed, non-corrupt country behaves.

They are corrupt, from top to bottom.  None of these boats could ever leave without Indonesian politicians, police and port authorities being bribed.

Are you saying that Indonesia could not, almost overnight,  drastically reduce people smuggling by boats from its territory to Australia?

Indeed, you would prefer it continue.
