First it hasn't melted yet so currently in the prediction category.
Second natural variability and the geological record have recorded the cyclical patterns in climate where extreme heat (more than currently) has been followed by extreme cold... and repeat...and repeat...etc
So hardly irreversible.

And your qualifications are ... ?

Your not the only one who can read data although you don't seem to comprehend much. I'm at a loss as to what you are disputing is the ice is all gone is it? If not it's a prediction.
Do you dispute that there cycles where it has been hotter than now and much colder and this seems fairly regular from the ice core data... Do you dispute that such data exists?
I'm not an astronomer either but I predict the sun will rise in the east and set in the west once a day for the next week...

Nam is pretending not to stand on the shoulders of giants: if that aint the definition of fascist i don't know what is!

Am i getting too cryptic: well, andrei might have to get involved lol  Roll Eyes

Anyone can express an opinion. Readers are entitled to know how credible that opinion might be. Thanks for clearing that up.

Saying the glacier will be gone in 20 years and raise sea levels 1cm is opinion.
The cyclical nature of past climate and evidence of the scope of that variability is as much scientific fact as the rotation of the earth producing sunrises and sunsets.
You really are starting to make a knob of yourself.

You might remember, greggerypeccary, a while back I mentioned the impact of my high-latency geosynchronous satellite service. Attached is one example.

You only use graphics when you've nothing to say, so it doesn't matter to me, but you might like to save your time.

No, you're dealing with someone who ranks opinions according to the credibility of their source. If you don't stop name-calling, you'll be banned.

I thought you must have lost your moderators hat and monocle...but then it's obviously different when those you disagree with are copping it. At least I gave you the incentive to find them again. You don't have to thank me...I'll go all blushy.
