No

Record cold from global warming causing 'polar vortex'
debunked

a recent paper finds no evidence of any unusual or unprecedented changes in the latitude or speed of the North Atlantic jet stream over the past 142 years since 1871. Another paper confirms there is no evidence that climate change has slowed the jet stream or increased frequency of jet stream blocking.

It would seem the AGW loons predicting the field (selecting every possible senario of weather and saying 'see its climate change') gig is up.

The goal post are going to be staying in one place from now on thank you very much. No more of their BS.

There are no predictions of cold weather from the global warming cult, they are furiously trying to enter those predictions now because of the cold weather but you'll find that prior to a couple of years ago there were no predictions of cold weather from the global warming cult, only heat.

Well I can remember the predictions of the UK becoming a lot colder, but then again I have a reasonable memory

You mean the 'global cooling' scare of the seventies?

Yes

A warming globe caused by climate change has more extreme weather.  Extreme hot, cold, drought, floods.

But overall the climate is warmer.

In physics heat = energy.

Did you miss Al Gore's movie, or even the hollywood blockbuster "the day after tomorrow".

You need to get out more.

You deniers dont have a leg to stand on here.

Youve made up the claim the global warming cant produce cold weather. Totally made it up. No scientist has ever said that.

In fact many scientists have said that global warming will produce a climate of extreme weather, hot and cold.

To claim ignorance of that is to claim ignorance of Al Gore's "An inconvenient truth", which you all see to love to quote when it suits you.  Didnt that movie predice a northern hemisphere snowball ?

But according to the IPCC-

'Higher (increasing) minimum temperatures; fewer cold days, frost days, and cold waves over nearly all land areas (very likely)

• Decreased cold-related human morbidity and mortality [4.7]
• Decreased risk of damage to a number of crops, and increased risk to others [4.2]
• Extended range and activity of some pest and disease vectors [4.2 and 4.3]
• Reduced heating energy demand [4.5]

https://www.ipcc.ch/pdf/climate-changes-2001/synthesis-syr/english/wg2-summary-policymakers.pdf

Not greater cold extremes.
