Global warming was the original term...climate change was adopted when the first was making them look a little foolish...it seems that AGW seems to be the current preferred terminology...throwing in the anthropogenic in case of confusion over attribution. There seems to be some current interchangability depending on what the weather is doing.
Deniers is the accepted terminology of the AGWarmists for those who do not accept the word of the Church of End of Days Warmists unquestioningly probably because they're going for a holocaust deniers association and in any case there is then no need to prove anything or debate anyone...just call them a denier and that will end the conversation as far as they're concerned. It's a bit hard to know what you're actually denying when the only absolute truth acceptable is that espoused by faithful this week which may differ from last or next week.

Well in the context of who has the most to lose, yes.
Research scientists are paid in grants to think about and investigate ideas. If the subject becomes unpopular, or is considered finalised, the grants stop. A company selling a product, on the other hand keeps selling the product, or if it runs out or becomes unpopular, they just start selling something else.
