Right, the orginal source of that graph was a climate scientist in Reading, UK called Ed Hawkins. The graph was redrawn and misrepresents the original data.

http://www.climate-lab-book.ac.uk/2013/updated-comparison-of-simulations-and-obs...
Quote:
[UPDATE (17/03/13): David Rose has written an article in the Mail on Sunday which, by eye, seems to use the top left panel from the figure below, but without mention of its original source. In the article David Rose suggests that this figure proves that the forecasts are wrong. This is incorrect - the last decade is interesting and I have discussed these issues previously (as have many others) and I have even co-authored a published article about the most sensitive simulations being less likely. David also incorrectly suggests that the shaded ranges shown are 75% and 95% certainty. As labelled below, they are actually the 25-75% and 5-95% ranges, so 50% and 90% certainty respectively.]

[UPDATE (21/03/13): Mail on Sunday acknowledge that Climate Lab Book figure was used & redrawn and apologise for lack of credit in article update.]

I have already explained this in another post on this board, but I don't have the time to find it right now.

I'd suggest that you should be very careful when calling me a liar when you haven't checked out the source yourself.

# is dying to use these controls on you.

I know it would be unfamiliar to you, greggerypeccary, but you might try being honest.

The links work perfectly.

More lies from you.
No, greggerypeccary, ignorance from you.

Mine is a geosynchronous satellite service. That means very high latency. Very high latency prevents some links from working. I can't reliably search Google from my browser's search bar, for example.

In know lmgtfy.com is some sort of search engine redirection. All you need to do is perform whatever search you were trying to foist off on me and present your substantiations.

You can substantiate, can't you, greggerypeccary?

gregory's problem is that he thinks Google links are the gospel truth.

Any old denier can create a google link.

Rather than that, he should directly link to relevant scientific jounal (not blog).

This is deniers making up "facts", so in a little while they can disprove them.

blessings ,

here is what the sun looks like right now ,

this star gives off much heat and energetic particles

on , but not limited to ,a photonic and neutrionic level

it is said ,

http://sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov/

...

...

...

yet as you may observe , this sun has a massive

sunspot ,the size which can hold every planet in our

solar system within it .

the solar pole reversal is transitioning ( circa solar

maxima/minima ) as this behemoth

becomes earth facing ,

al gore wants to tax this through the rebates in

solar panels in which when you read the fineprint

when you claim the rebate you consent to government

ownership of the sun ... the rain and water was owned

by government when these clueless dupes rebated

their water tanks when the frenzy was on ..

giving consent ( majority rules ) as most of the

electorate voted for their 30 pieces of silver ...

clueless dupes and others do the duping

all this illusion remains forgiven

in love and light

namaste

It might be more accurate to say that greggerypeccary thinks the gospel truth is whatever he says it is. The Gospel according to greggerypeccary has a certain ring to it, don't you agree?

I reckon greggerypeccary deliberately conceals his sources. Every time he reveals one, it turns out to be disreputable. Of course, some of them, greggerypeccary fabricates.

A lot like longweekend58, come to think of it: # wrote on Dec 26th, 2013 at 2:44pm:

Be kind to longweekend58; he evidently isn't well. Most of us regard him as a pathological liar but, judging by the history of his posts, the concept of truth is a mystery to longweekend58. If truth is an unfamiliar concept, can one truly lie?

Truth, of course, is reality. If longweekend58 can't comprehend truth, then he's divorced from reality. Loss of contact with reality is characteristic of psychosis.

I reckon, if longweekend58's IQ was a couple of quartiles higher, he might be a sociopath. Be thankful for small mercies. Smiley
Though I see less reason to be kind to greggerypeccary.
