Or are you saying that nothing less than 100% will suffice?

Considering the very, very small differences in temperature that are being reported, yes.
Substantiation? Link to any scientific projection with a 100% confidence level?

Still waiting, greggerypeccary. Have you been making stuff up again?

"Making stuff up"?

Not at all.

You seem a tad confused.

By all means though, tell me what it is that I've "made up".

You're the one saying science should come with 100% confidence levels!

Nope, not me.

Yes you are!

Incorrect.

And you know it's incorrect, or you would have provided a link to the post where I supposedly made the claim.

Of course, you can't provide the link because the post doesn't exist.

Why do members of the Climate Church continue to tell lies.  Is it a distraction?

Greggys contribution follows thus:
Considering the very, very small differences in temperature that are being reported, yes.

So where are your links to all those scientific projections with 100% confidence levels? Unless you made up the possibility.

Have you been out in the sun today?

I've never claimed that there are links to "scientific projections with 100% confidence levels".

...yet you argue that they ought to exist!

Incorrect.

You really should scroll back and read the posts properly, in order to save yourself any more embarrassment.

True Blue and longweekend58 are disciples of the demented messiah George W Bush and constantly shovel blather and putrid dogma to cover their lack of intellect.

So you're saying that nothing less than 100% will suffice, yet there are no links to studies with 100% confidence. Do such studies not exist or are they cleverly concealed?

Yet, you completely ignore the probability that AGW may not be real.

You confuse probability and possibility. All things are possible; including that the vast majority of the best qualified and every organisation of reputable scientists is wrong.

As I said, mine is a world of probabilities. What evidence can you present to support your contention that the probability that they're wrong* is higher than the probability that they're right*?

* Crude binary, pandering to your limited Conservative mind.

Nope, no confusion.

And, as I said, yours is not a world of probabilities: yours is a world of closed-minded, blind faith.
It looks to me like you're the one with the blind faith. You are a church-goer, aren't you, greggerypeccary?

So outline your understanding of the difference between possibility and probability.

You say there's a probability that AGW is not real. So what is that probability?

What is the probability that the vast majority of the best qualified and every organisation of reputable scientists is wrong*? How does it compare with the probability that they're right*?

Present your evidence.

* Crude binary, pandering to your limited Conservative mind.
No evidence then, greggerypeccary?

In relation to "scientific projections", no.

I'm not saying that at all.

That's just some bullshit you've made up in order to create a distraction.

au contraire

The only one being dishonest in this thread is you.

You made up a complete and utter lie about me.

I caught you out on it.

And now you're trying to cause a distraction.

Too late: you have been exposed as nothing more than a liar who will do or say anything to promote your religion.

Better luck next time.

I think the Church of Climate Change Hysteria are equally as guilty of blindly following and not appreciating underhand forces at place.

Last year at the American Oil Producer Conference there was an interesting set of slides shown to the audience.

75% of the scientists proclaiming doomsday messages about human made climate impact are significant investors in projects which directly benefit from hysterical messages of change.

In Wall St, if you give out messages which deliberately entice investment and benefit companies in which you are investors, you go to jail.
It's called "stacking the deck".

Think - Invest in alternative energy project + Give out deliberately alarmist message on climate change = Increased return and investment in your project.

If we in the traditional energy sector do the same thing, we are hung out to dry.

Just as an aside, the rate of temperature increase on the Planet Mars has been comparable with Planet Earth.

The answer for Mars is solar related.

Earth's on the other hand is caused by people.

Or so they will tell us.
