Yes, it looks as tough whoever wrote the opening post cherry-picked data, then deliberately misinterpreted it to mislead the credulous ignorant, such as Innocent bystander. If the source is so disreputable, it's no wonder Innocent bystander has been so careful to avoid revealing it.

That makes me curious.

From your petty Dickensian posts, I'd say it makes you spurious old son.....ya appear to revel in your flowery language.......too much my man!

I dont think there is any other field of human knowledge in which there is such a daft cleavage between what has been scientifically ascertained and the unshakeable beliefs of a large portion of the general public.

Whether he does or not, would it make him a climate scientist? Does knowing how to write make me a poet?

Isn't poetry based on writing?

When all else fails, there is always the Appeal to Authority fallacy.

Basically, it's not "who he is" that's important. It's the arguments (or lack of arguments) that he presents.

What arguments does he present? What papers has he published to back these up?

In other news a boatload of AGW hand-wringing scientists on a trip to see melting ice, of the Antarctic summer, now trapped...in the ice... A Chinese ice breaker fails to break through what was believed to be wafer thin ice remnants.  Grin

Given Darriulat's reputation on matters climate, you'll need to do more than just tell people to read what he says. We're all too old and gnarly to waste time on what is most probably, as you say, denialist claptrap.

You can point to credible reports of that belief, can't you?

Perhaps you should consider what I advised lee:
1. Contemplate the differences between climate and weather and;
2. Consider the totality, rather than cherry-picking one part of the planet.

You do nothing but cherry pick and put up unsubstantiated claptrap...I only have to exceed your standard...
I consider nothing you say, as rabid, myopic, zealots warrant no consideration.

*Sure....they're anti competitive as any subsidised job is.  It wouldn't be there without the tax payer.  Very damned difficult for a brainwashed collectivist to understand that I know....  (swaggy) *
