Is Labor in a time warp?
Oct 15th, 2013 at 11:57am

Watching Capitol Hill yesterday arvo, the viewer could be forgiven for thinking he was in a different time, long long ago and far far away.

The Weasel was there . .er sorry, Andrew Leigh (does he have a permanent booking to scare away the crows?) and he maintained the fiction that somehow Labor didn't lose the election. By which I suppose he means they just didn't win it. Because, according to his scrambled form of thinking, if that's what you can call it, no votes were lost by Labor to the coalition, they are really still in some form of government by default.
And some other Labor dropkick was there, whose name will forever escape me, maintaining that Labor has in fact a mandate to put its policies into effect!
You what?
And this line continues to be repeated in ever more inventive ways in perhaps some deluded belief that everybody will wake up and discover September was just a bad dream.

Could someone please tell these people that Tony Abbott has 90 odd members as opposed to their baker's dozen or whatever it is.
And while you're at it, could you give them some downers to counteract the uppers they don't seem to be able to cope with.

it is that level of delusion that will ensure their defeat at the next election.  just as they ignored the afact that they lost the 2010 election.

just to easy for Abbott!

Sorry? Labor was at some time in John Howard's team?
You'll have to explain yourself.

Andrew is right. No votes were lost to the coalition. Those missing ALP votes remain locked up and stored in the AEC Commissioner Mr Ed Killesteyn's garage. They will remain there until all this fuss dies down.

The ALP, the progressive party, the party of ideas, the workers' friend, is the only Australian political party to roast four young Australians in roof cavities. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!

"Is Labor in a time warp?"

Well, if they are, I'm looking forward to that jump to the left (and no more steps to the right).
