Do you know if the lunar module was insulated against the radioactive belt between the Earth & the moon....???
If the hot spot in the tropopause existed then our weather balloons and satellite data would've detected it.
As it stands there is no hot spot in the real world proved by empirical methods.
The hot spot exists in computer circulation models.
