I draw your attention to the fact that Australia is in massive debt and your wonderful leader is still continuing to borrowing millions every day, sooner or later the debt collector will be knocking on all our doors.

I draw YOUR attention to the FACT that it is nothing of the kind.

Don't argue support for the Coalition based on the economy, as you haven't a leg to stand on.

but it IS massive debt.  The largest we have ever had.

it's always the largest we ever had ... the debt we will have in another 10 yrs will be larger than todays, the debt in 20 yrs larger still.

$1 just does not buy what it used to, and tomorrow it will buy even less.

DO you believe Jerry when he tells you he is suffering? Over $100m profit not enough?

You could ask Ford Motor Company?

The ones that pulled all their manufacturing from Australia.

General Motors will be gone by 2016 too.

businesses open and close shop every day of the year Andrei ... how many moved offshore under Howard?

some people don't understand the concept of actually "earning" their own money ...

if they did then they wouldn't applaud a dud government that has thrown away hundreds of billions of tax payers dollars and then ask for an extra $2500 PA in their welfare payments...

oh but of course.. money grows on ****king trees... Angry

At least it doesn't swing from them by its tail while peeling bananas with its feet, like you conservatives do.

Facile argument, everything is the largest we have ever had because our population is the largest we have ever had.

Gross debt in Australia has increased by 340%.

That's not exactly small irrelevant of the population.

You cant say irrelevant of the population, GDP is directly tied to population. I agree we should not now be running successive deficits but our debt is not massive, not forgetting the GFC barely touched Australia due in part to government spending.

no, we are talking about a subsidiary of the third largest company in the world. Ford never closed shop, only Ford Australia .... it was never that big to start with  ... and what difference does it make how large the company is?
