Good post,
let's hope they don't put a GST on goods below $1,000.

I bought some memory RAM for an old laptop which was not available in Australia.

What a great thrill to have a laptop all working properly for such little cost.  Smiley

you have to ask.. what do other countries do??.. they all have their own form of GST I cant believe no one collects it for online.

The UK limit for VAT is only $20 I think so they collect it on virtually everything.  but nobody makes any money on it because it costs more to collect it than the money collected.

So let's hope Tony doesn't slap on a similar law when he wins?

Abbott has completely ruled out any changes to the GST, we all heard him the other night right ?????

If Abbott introduces a GST on online transactions it makes his statement the other night a lie.

Yes, clearly he isn't going to do a Gillard...
