There is nothing new about a story like this except that the protagonist happens to be the wife of the Australian Prime Minister, the rich have been doing it to the poor since Noah was a boy

Sorry if I have had to upset the delicate geniuses out there but no one makes 200 million dollars in profit without pushing the envelope.

I stand by post Number 1...what part of that don't you get???????????????????????????

It's got nothing on Theresa Rein's "past (that) follows us all".

It's an old article.

There's no evidence of TR doing anything shifty, unethical, unlawful or illegal.

From what I can see, her labour-hire company was contracted to facilitate student placements, practicums and internships. What's dodgy about it?

Do you want to clarify this for us, Red?

He wont, because there is nothing to clarify....

No substance, no story, no facts, no brain.....

You don't make 200 million dollars profit without 'gilding the lily'.

I don't see Rudd's family refuting the allegations of what may be legal in terms of the law but is morally reprehensible. Making profits at the expense of unemployed people.

Very clever person Therese Rein.

It is a scandal in the United Kingdom i.e. What companies like and including Rein's Inguese Recruitment Company have done.

Read my previous long post with details of how she made a motza, using the system. Cool

Every business sets out to provide a service or product all within the framework as set out by both government and markets.

Therese's company provided services as outlined by contracts which they were required to tender for within the framework as outlined by those tenders issued by the government departments themselves.

It was the governments that elected to put these contracts into the hands of private enterprise, which these people tendered for.

If you dont like the fact she has become wealthy from conducting a legitimate, question the conditions which facilitated it, not the people that used it.

Opportunities exist everywhere for people to become successful business people.

Because she made it by providing services for the government doesnt make her any less a success, or any less of a person for doing so.

The government of the time elected to outsource these operations due to inefficienies.  I have yet to see anything that suggests her company in particular has failed in its contractual obligations.

Having tracked your 'long post' back to its source, I find it is connected to The Citizens Electoral Council of Australia.
------------------
The Citizens Electoral Council of Australia (CEC) is a minor nationalist[1] political party in Australia affiliated with the international LaRouche Movement, led by American political activist and conspiracy theorist[2] Lyndon LaRouche. It reported having 549 members in 2007.[3] They have been described as "far right",[4] "fascist" and "lunar right,"[5] as well as "ideologues on the economic Left."[6]
-------------

OK......

Therese Rein made 200 million large by using the loose framework available in the U.K. employment laws, in that her company Ingenuse farmed out workers to shop where they did 'work experience' full time.

They were not paid for those duties, nor was there a position for them at the end of their 'work experience'.

They were 'PAID' the dole.

Many businesses put off full time and casual workers in favour of this system because it didn't cost them a shilling.

Froggie if you think that is alright then you must be certifiable. Cheesy

And every one of them should now be give a lump-sum payment containing
full wages for the time they were being rorted, plus a generous compensation
payment and a written apology.

And a job.

But, of course, they'll end-up with nothing. As usual.

If all you can produce is some out-dated tripe from 'fascist political activists and conspiracy theorists' from the "far and looney right", then I know who is certifiable.
