Breaking News

Tomorrows fundraiser for Craig Thomson has been postponed.

Below is the media release in full.

Good afternoon

As you know, a fund-raiser event for my legal defence fund had been scheduled for this Thursday 4 July. Following requests from two of the speakers, I have now re-scheduled the event for Thursday 25 July.

The venue and time are unchanged:
6.30pm, 25 July 2013
City Tattersalls Club
194/196-204 Pitt St
Sydney NSW 2000
Many thanks
Craig Thomson

but I guess you think Justice Rares was fair
in his summing up of Ashby??.

I certainly do, having carefully read his analytical and forensic decision.  Have you read it cods?  If you have, would you please point out which parts were unfair, and explain why?

Wasnt Rares the one who got a secret briefing from Roxon and then let Slipper in through the back door to the courts against protocol?

No, nothing strange in that is there.

he may not have a jury but the real jury is out there...in Australia.

Yes - Thommo will have his day in Court, and we will see what happens.

How about Brough though?  He is still wanting to represent the Liberal Party in our Parliament - and he has already had his day in Court.  We know what he is like:

The ruling of Federal Court judge Steven Rares - who yesterday threw out the case, accusing Ashby of hatching a "political attack" with Brough to "advance the interests of the LNP and Mr Brough"

And this is the sort of bloke that gets the support of the bloke that wants to be the PM!!!!

Mind you - Tony isn't too fussy about this sort of stuff, is he:

Despite not having read the judgment, Mr Abbott said he was confident Mr Brough - who is the LNP candidate in Fisher - had acted "rightly at all times".
