You are asking for an answer to a question that anybody would know, anybody except an idiot like you. A question which anybody with half a brain wouldn't need to ask. Are you really that smacking thick?

However, I have no problem with the WA Police using speed cameras to raise revenue that "goes into the Road Trauma Trust Fund and is spent on various road safety programs."

That's fine and dandy until some contract company comes along and offers a good price.
Looking after road accident victims is a government (public) expenditure anyway.

I think they're fair enough in hot spots, but that's not how I see them being used in Victoria.

Seriously, you really agree with speeding in a school zone whether the kids are at school or not? You think that kids only go near schools when they are at lessons? You don't think this habit is dangerous and risks the real possibility of a tragedy even out of school hours.  So you are quite happy to zoom along in a school zone and trust that because schools out,  kids aren't around?

I hope parents on this forum can see what kind of an irresponsible piece of
sh!t you really are!

Pffft.  If they make it to high school without being able to cross a friggin' road, their seed deserves to be wiped from the earth.

no, i disagree with using the excuse of reducing the speed limit for kids, to fine people when there are no kids present. You claimed that the reason for the fines on a teachers only day back at school after 6 weeks of holidays, 6 weeks of people becoming acostomed to no school zones, was that it saved lives ... now I ask you to back that up .. prove that fining people on a pupil free day at the end of 6 weeks holidays has saved a single life? Or admit that you are a lying piece of turd who likes to make things up.

And don't try to twist things, we aren't talking about doing 110km /hr, I'm talking about someone travelling at 50km hr (i know, real speed demons aren't they dopey)

By the way, you little turd, I always assume there are kids about whenever I am in a residential area ... i don't rely on revenue raising as an excuse to be vigilant.

It's gets easier once they get to high school.

However, during most of the primary school years many kids are disadvantaged by their underdeveloped peripheral vision.

I remember a kid in primary school who walked with a permanent limp because he'd been hit by a car - twice.
Then whilst on a school trip, the teacher stopped everybody at the curb, except for that kid who went waltzing straight across and copped a slight bump from a car.

Roll Eyes It seems some kids would be better off relieved from the gene pool.

He also had underdeveloped ears and an underdeveloped brain. The kid was a dickhead who thought he was a smartass.

I never much like speed cameras, but after my wife received a $100 fine for going 52km/h at 3:58pm, I absoluetley hate them.  (the limit in school zones is 40km/h from 2:30 - 4pm, even though kids are around for only ~15 minutes)

Nothing to do with safety, everything to do with $$$.

I had a 56 in a 60 zone fine come to me via a police officer who freely admitted that to being standing 100 meters past the 40 zone. He claimed that he got the reading(s) from when I was within the 40 zone, although he didn't wish to reproduce the evidence of that within the courtroom setting. Seven months later, the magistrate didn't give a damn about this matter, because it was a simple matter of admitting to receiving a fine by the police officer. Prima faciae (or however you spell it). Then the judge upped the fine by another $100, and told me to pay the court costs. Magistrate looked like he had been on the piss the night before, so I don't think he was going to care one way or the other.
