No.  You haven't posted any article which shows that  "the IPCC, the UK MET and NASA have "confirmed" there has been "no warming for 17 years".

All you have posted is a piece from a very unreliable source, where the journalist provides no actual quotes from anyone.  Despite this - what he does actually say is that Pachuri, upon acknowleding taht there has been a pause in the rise of maximun surface air temperatures, he said it would need to last "30 to 40 years at least" to break the long-term global warming trend.

Even the journalist form The Australian did not  claim that "the IPCC, the UK MET and NASA have "confirmed" there has been "no warming for 17 years".

Yet you are lying and saying that he did!

Is this all you have?  This piece from The Australian with no actual quotes?

Is this all you are basing your lie: "the IPCC, the UK MET and NASA have "confirmed" there has been "no warming for 17 years". on?!?!?

I think it is about time you apologised for telling lies.  You really are a disgrace.  Your mother would be ashamed.

Are you sure your ok, Maqqa?

There's no reference in your original/following post, to the IPCC, the UK MET or NASA, it's only the OZ Bureau of Meteorology!

Honestly, I'm getting concerned, quite a bit of your current SPIN, isn't a patch on some of your older work!

How about taking a couple of "Bex" and take each weekend off, say for the next month or even 12 months. I'm sure you can afford the salary reduction?

The Bureau of Meteorology has confirmed that Australia has just experienced its hottest summer on record.

The bureau says the previous hottest summer - measured by average day and night figures from across the nation - was in 1997-98.

Sorry "righties" and "climate change deniers"

After 1 summer of hottest weather on average since 1998 and constant temperature for the last 17 years - climate change is back with a vengeance!!

Based on this 1 figure - lefties will tell you to build an Ark

Ohh yeah!!

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/national-affairs/science-to-win-on-climate/story...

A PAUSE in global temperature rises, confirmed by the British Met Office and NASA climate scientist James Hanson, was temporary and science would win out over climate change denial, public ethics professor Clive Hamilton said yesterday.

Professor Hamilton's comments follow acknowledgement by IPCC chairman Rajendra Pachauri of the British Met Office's downward revision of its forecast global temperature average to 2017. The downward revision has been widely reported internationally as meaning the global average temperature would have remained steady, at a record high level, for two decades.

Dr Hansen, from the NASA Institute for Space Studies, has also acknowledged the pause in global temperature rises over the past decade.

Go back to the original post and see my reference

THe reference in the original opening post?

The reference in your opening post says:

Normally, a hot summer like the one just gone would be accompanied by hotter than normal temperatures in the central and eastern Pacific Ocean - an El Nino summer, in other words.

But Dr Trewin says this year ocean temperatures were average.

"That's quite unusual for a summer like this," he said.

"If we look at previous very hot summers in Australia before this year, six of the eight hottest summers on record had occurred during El Nino years.

"So the fact that we've got such a hot summer without having an El Nino makes it in some ways even more exceptional."

http://au.news.yahoo.com/latest/a/-/latest/16275763/australia-breaks-hottest-sum...

It certainly does not say:

"the IPCC, the UK MET and NASA have "confirmed" there has been "no warming for 17 years".

No - that is a lie you told.

THis is why you cannot provide a reference to support your statement.

You moan and bitch and whinge and say "I al ready have" - but you are convincing nobody.
That is what a liar says.

If you were telling the truth.  You would cut and paste and prove me wrong instantly!

But you can't, can you.

You are quoting the bloke from The Australian.

The Australian tells lies.

Do you really need to be shown evidence of this?

You claimed:

"the IPCC, the UK MET and NASA have "confirmed" there has been "no warming for 17 years".

Please show us evidence of this.

The IPCC has not said there has been "no warming for 17 years.  Even by your own reference, Pachuri said: "it would need to last "30 to 40 years at least" to break the long-term global warming trend."

The UK MET has not said that there has been no warming for 17 years :
the MET said (in response to your mate David Rose):
Climate change can only be detected from multi-decadal timescales due to the inherent variability in the climate system. If you use a longer period from HadCRUT4 the trend looks very different. For example, 1979 to 2011 shows 0.16°C/decade (or 0.15°C/decade in the NCDC dataset, 0.16°C/decade in GISS). Looking at successive decades over this period, each decade was warmer than the previous – so the 1990s were warmer than the 1980s, and the 2000s were warmer than both. Eight of the top ten warmest years have occurred in the last decade.
http://metofficenews.wordpress.com/2012/10/14/met-office-in-the-media-14-october...

And NASA have certainly never said "there has been "no warming for 17 years" - I assume you just made that up.

So LIAR

You claimed:

"the IPCC, the UK MET and NASA have "confirmed" there has been "no warming for 17 years".

When are you going to sho us evidence of this?

Show us the "Mets numbers" that say there has been no warming for 17 years.

Please show us or apologise for telling lies.

If you want to question the dailymail that's up to you

They referenced it directly to the Met Off

NASA's confirmed it

IPCC confirmed it

A PAUSE in global temperature rises, confirmed by the British Met Office and NASA climate scientist James Hanson, was temporary and science would win out over climate change denial, public ethics professor Clive Hamilton said yesterday.

Professor Hamilton's comments follow acknowledgement by IPCC chairman Rajendra Pachauri of the British Met Office's downward revision of its forecast global temperature average to 2017. The downward revision has been widely reported internationally as meaning the global average temperature would have remained steady, at a record high level, for two decades.

Dr Hansen, from the NASA Institute for Space Studies, has also acknowledged the pause in global temperature rises over the past decade.

bump

Please tell us who said there is  A PAUSE in global temperature rises, confirmed by the British Met Office and NASA climate scientist James Hanson,

You are quoting this crap.  You now own it.

Show us some "scepticism"

Where did these "quotes" come from.

Come on Maqqa - prove to us you are not a brain -dead internet bot that just reposts crap that the Liberal party pays you to repost.

I see we are arguing over 0.1 of a degree with temperature data dating back to the 1800's

How accurate are temperature readings and how accurate were the readers?

I see you still have not told us why you claimed that the IPCC, the UK MET and NASA have "confirmed" there has been "no warming for 17 years"

Please show use evidence of this.  Or apologise for lying to the forum.

Simple cut and paste will do.

Show us where the IPCC, the UK MET and NASA have "confirmed" there has been "no warming for 17 years".

Don't run away this time.

I've already posted the article - it's up to you to question the author and not me

I didn't write the article

Didn't say you did.

We are asking you why you wrote:

"the IPCC, the UK MET and NASA have "confirmed" there has been "no warming for 17 years".

when you have absolutely no evidence to support this.

Why did you tell an outright lie like that?

Who did you think you would fool?

der

Are you climbing on the wagon with the liar?

Can you show us where :

"the IPCC, the UK MET and NASA have "confirmed" there has been "no warming for 17 years".

der. Stick to politics emerson. Atleast there you have the labor party behind you.
