Both Labor and the Liberals are Center Right..the Nationals are Country Socialists and the Greens are Center Left Progressives.
Left and Right are just left over propaganda terms from the Cold War and now we have the propaganda from the Denialists and Freedom Fries crowds to replace the old Cold War propaganda machine.
Funnily enough the Denailists and the Freedom Friers are pretty much the same dimwits  Grin

I agree, Cods. The best posters have left. Matty, Shane B, Blackadder, Lynn.

I like KJT1981, but she doesn’t post as much. Also, she’s still new here and getting to know everyone.

you been at the bottle again???? tsk tsk.,

That's not you being abusive again  is it, cods?

Cods, I am not interested in whether the responses are personal or not.

There are some here with whom you cannot reason, Maqqa is one of them. He and some of his mates make much of keeping some people to account. Maybe it is time THEY were held up to the light as well.

I don't like Abbott for a huge number of reasons, his strange behaviour, conservative social views and his admission that you cannot believe anything he says unless it is written down, will do for a start.

I believe Gillard is politically naive and knows little of the principles of the labor movement. I consider the Parliamentary wing haslost its way and the party is too dominated by the union movement
That is a balanced view, is it not?

The Libs are nowhere near centre. This is how it goes:

Labor - centre, formerly centre-left.
Liberal - right, formerly centre-right.
Nationals - far-right, formerly right.
Greens - centre-left, formerly left.

Everyone's gone up one, away from the left.

for a lefty well done very balanced and a first for me to read without being abused... thank you for that..

you see what you read in macca is what we righties read in certain lefties..UNREASONABLE

so its the same thing.. you read someone like. valley boy.. oops wiseone..he abuses anyone for reading or c&p Daily Telegraph yet he is addicted to the Independent.. isnt that the same thing?? well it is to me..

yep I do agree that some righties are very very LOUD if thats the word..aggressive may be better

but when you read some of the trash and thats putting it mildly from lefties on here..regarding Abbott...

it provokes that type of response..

I prefer not to respond to mindless drivel.. about Abbotts so called affairs.. and photo ops with the fire brigade..

its not what I come  on a political forum for..

I am sure if you did a study of the three worst offender from both sides on here.. you would hard pressed to find a winner... or in  my book the looser.. because I hate that dialogue.

I expect it from certainly lefties and cringe when I see it from righties..

but what can you do???.. move past dont interact I dont know.. FD must pull all his hair out.. Grin Grin

Bob Menzies policies would be considered extreme left by the conga line here.

Thanks, cods, for the compliment, much appreciated.

I agree that if TA has had affairs they are nobody's business but his family. The same applies to Gillard.

The firefighting thing WAS a photo op, but not just that, Abbott deserves credit for his volunteer work and got it from me as well as other lefties.

Thanks again, mate, all the best.
