The easiest way to get around needing a spellcheck is to be able to spell and formulate sentences in the first place.

Old fashioned I know, but there you have it.

Quite so Hicks.  Seems we don't disagree on everything.!! Smiley

But you see?? don't you?? ...these people have not had sufficient education in language. They can't even spell their own.. As Cods says,,  it's too late !!
...for their brains....

dont under estimate my brain thank you...its been around for a fair while.. and I can hold my own on most things..

one thing I try not to do is put people down.. no matter how subtle one thinks they are being.

[I didnt forget the b]..or should that read  smug?.

for those that find the odd spelling mistake.. shock horror they shouldnt be on a forum like this...

they are far too smart to put up with us imperfects.

Cods?

you are a perfect example of the people who think they know what they are saying, but don't have the skills to do so effectively.

I'm sure you are not as ?????  as you come across... and much of what you post is emotion-driven,, so you do tend to make some  umm curious remarks.

Now I KNOW what it is like to be mis-interpreted..  sometimes people do it for malice, aforethought,  sometimes because they lack comprehension... so I don't get offended....

nor should you.  Because whatever flack you cop, is in direct relation to your comments.  Post the post, talk the talk, walk the walk

What was it  ?  ah yes in the Bible

Jesus...talking to GOD, whilst being crucified on The Mount of Calvary ...

Forgive them,  for they Know NOT what they do.

I;m generally a forgiving sort of person...tolerant, open-minded.. but I find those that present as the opposite ...DO TRY MY PATIENCE.!! Grin

Cods you are one of the few people here who write honestly. Don't change for anyone.

I've noticed lately that it isn't as active here. It's probably because so little thought is being put into posts lately. Some members choose to throw stones instead and it's a turn off to those who genuinely want to say something meaningful.

that's rich that is Mantra.   Grin

My posts seem to be longer than many others I read here... I do try to explain my positions...  I only resort to one liners,  when there is something really funny. Smiley

I 'm not saying that Cods is dishonest.  I agree with you, that she is honest, and speaks her mind, and good for her.

I just take exception at some of the ahem posts, and feel obliged to reply, for the sake of fairness...  Smiley

Cods, you said you wouldn't talk to me again a LOOOONG time ago.

I haven't said your posts weren't thoughtful, but there are plenty of others who are nasty here just for the sake of it. It looked as though Cods was being ganged up on and I know what that's like. We all need a little positive support sometimes.

thanks mantra...some I have noticed are only on here to put people down...they have no interest in the topic what ever its all about being as nasty as possible..  turn off is putting it mildly..

I am just so glad I dont know them in the real world..I have done my share of hitting back... but it really isnt my go.. and generally speaking I do my best to avoid.. I just wish they would do the same...

I dont mind being avoided..hahaha..

its the new year... I will not be baited..!!!

I think we have had this conversation before..

but Happy New Year to you mantra..

No Never been anyone but cods or codswal..

it went to cods after everyone used that anyway..

if I ever venture on other forums its always cods...

so there can be no mistakes...

dont forget you are reading the written word... it has no tone/bodylanguage/eye contact..

you cannot pretend to ever know someone from a forum like this and its silly to think you do.
