Good article Baron but it proves my point - thankyou.
Quote: Attacks on civilians and civilian objects are always banned.
Note that also people in Gaza were subject to shells from Israeli warships.
Shells are not accurate so therefore there was indiscriminate bombing of civilians.
It's illegal and a war crime.
War crimes from Hamas do not allow for retaliatory war crimes from Israel.
What did it say about Hamas firing rockets from civilian buildings?
It also says they can defend themselves and considering what they have dropped you would expect a higher death toll.
Secondary explosions of ammo, rocket propellant etc can be hard to predict,at least the secondaries let you know you have hit a good target.
The shells from modern warships are accurate, the physics of projectile motion are easy to understand which should not be confused with chanting Allahu akbar for a guidance system.
At least we have a ceasefire so hamas can rearm and then then resume hostilities at a time when they are stronger.
