True, but a whole lot sure do.

How do we go about proving that then??

  Grin Grin Grin Grin  Wink

Listen to the shows and be guided by the open line callers and emailers.

Yep be guided to complete lunacy.

The man is a disgrace.  Anyone who listens to him are just disgraced sheep.

What we've learnt from Alan recently;

http://www.2gb.com/index.php?option=com_homepage&id=1&Itemid=44

Photos, many photos;

. Coal seam gas wells on the Darling Downs

. Katie Lloyd's property near Dalby.

. A coal mine near Broke in the Hunter Valley.

. So-called 'rehabilitated farmland', post-mining.  Grin

. This is what we're working to stop. This is a small sample of what's happening at the Scenic Rim, the Gold Coast Hinterland. The webs of gas wells and pipelines, an average 800m apart, extend for miles. If the State Government in Queensland gets its way there will be 40,000 of these sites across the state.

. This is the site for the Rocky Hill open cut coal mine where AGL coal seam gas wells are scattered throughout coal exploration licence area.

This entire hillside, forming part of the Mograni Range east and south of Gloucester, is within the Rocky Hill open cut mine area boundary.

All but the highest peaks is included in the mine area.

Gloucester High School is about 4km behind where this photo was taken with residential estates only about 1.5km away.

I commend Gloria for his stance on CSG, nice to see him joining the mainstreamopulation for a change.

'Old people' vote. Smiley

ABC bloggers allegedly called Alan Jones' and 2GB's listeners "uneducated, knuckle-dragging neanderthals". Smiley
We stored that one away in our memory bank as a reminder, and for future reference.

58 yr old gran is usually influencing her children as to how to spend their money wisely, the best buys, ...and is shaping the political and social minds of her grandchildren.

Indeed, those young lefty ABC bloggers were probably left to childcare than the wise guidance of nan and pop.

Little wonder they lack common sense and have a mob mentality.

Unfortunately you still dont get the idea of not having a brain if you are still left by the age 30. It is actually pretty spot on, give or take a few years.

So in other words, ideologues on the left in years to come, will be saying the exact same thing as you.

To help kickstart you in the morning. Basically, people get older and change their world view. That world view has a funny way of following the old phrase "If you're not Liberal when you're 25, you have no heart. If you're not Conservative when you're 35, you have no brain."

No. Liberal party are not full conservative, just like labor are not full socialist/marxists. What I am stating with the phrase is that lefties forever in time, will be complaining about older peoples political leanings.

It is true to some degree - unfortunately life events leave some people jaded and hence they move over to the dark side Sad

The phrase is remarkably true. When I was young and naïve I voted Labor and occasionally I even read Green Left Weekly.

Nothing to be jaded about, except learning that Labor is always about irresponsible spending and bad social policies. Kev 07 sucked in a new generation, they too will learn the same lessons and wise up.

Women usually decide where the family and/or she and her husband go for their holidays?

It's been my experience that guys don't really care that much about minor details [within reason], as long as there's a nice tv to watch, nice lounge to sit on, nice car to drive, wife and family are happy, and the food is good. Smiley

Then why are none of the families I know like that? In the families of ppl I know the men and women share in the decision making and the cooking. They have their own cars.

They do share the decisions, but you can't tell me that the little lady doesn't finally decide which SUV the family buys [within the agreed price range].
"Darling, this SUV is the best one for me, I can't reach the pedals in the other ones".

And ditto the family home.
"Darling, I really love the kitchen and bathroom in this home".

Exactly. And if I’m not mistaken, dear, you were even a member of the Hornsby Greens for a short period - not that there’s anything wrong with it.

Let’s face it, the Liberal Party has much better refreshments at their meetings. Toni Wright Windsor’s Anzac biscuits would fill any decent lady’s stomach with lead.
