Instead we just say we're going to do it while other countries pollute more & more - that can't be right.

Fact is that nobody is going to pay any carbon tax.

Yes some prices may rise because of the price on carbon.

Not like the GST where there was a double whammy

we got to pay 10% GST in the form of a real tax and then got to pay the price increases which came from the inpact of the tax on bussiness on top.

10% on virtually every thing and then an additional price rise on almost everything produced on the top.

2011-2012 - $57,250
2012-2013 - $57,247
