It should be suspended again but good luck getting ppl riled up a second time. The story ran its course (as dictated by the media). Perhaps the government will do something but I doubt it. They only did something last time because it was a big thing in the news.

I've always been for decency - for the animals AND farmers. I'd like to see an end to the live export trade, but not at the expense of people's jobs if possible. Surely there is a way to end live export AND meet the religious obligations of this country's clients abroad.

I wouldn't vote for a party that kills ( aids and abets) millions of innocent people every year, let alone allows the torture of animals.

Well, it's hard to look up to a people who allow brutal behaviour to dumb animals. Don't they have anyone in that country to control this practice?
