If animals must be killed in a certain way for religious reasons, why not employ people of the same faith here in Australia to kill the animals humanely and in accordance with their religious beliefs and then send the bodies abroad in refridgerated containers aboard ships? Everyone wins then. If we can transport LPG by tanker over the ocean, it shouldn't be too hard to transport refridgerated livestock I'd think?
If you actually read the quaran it states the animal must be in a quite environment and not see the blade.
The cut must sever the the two arteries in the neck and the windpipe.
It must be treated with respect bordering on reverence.
None of this goes on in any of the countries we export to apparently on the basis of religious belief.
YouTube Egyptian slaughter house, rewatch the Indonesian footage and the Pakistan debacle.
It's about money mate nothing else.
Again hypocrisy thy name is liberal
Belated or not its good to see you advocating decency with this, lets hope it continues if trade is once again suspended.
