how does the consumer have the choice when all electricity companies will increase their cost?

Well in my area we are supplied by 2 companies,
1 passed on a 18% increase the other passed on a 11% increase.

Which 1 is seeing a spike in new customers do you think?

why should a consumer have to pay anything at all for climate policies?
I am not in favor of a consumer paying a single dime for it.

Does the consumer live within the climate?

Nothing in this world is free, there is always a cost.

Not always.

Private investment is the best way.

Why should consumer pay for increases? No i do not agree.

You need to be strong.

You need to say - this is why we should not pay. There should be private investment.
If there is to be taxes to fund - then take from other areas which do not harm your country or the citizens.

I don't have a Aussie political view on your parties, it is not my say - but i do have a view on climate change.
It should be the world's worst polluters who must take the most action and then other countries work to provide private investment.

I just gave you one example of the Hydro plant funded by Toyota.

I know several others, my uncle's company is a major investor in a wind power generation funded by investment, USA grants and from Government land lease.

No tax, no price increase. Just energy.

You are taking the easy option and hitting the taxpayer in both your ideas.

Neither is MY option
It is the choice I am faced with.

I'll take a developed plan over a stupid pipe dream of no cost from a fool.

Turnbull needs to keep his mouth shut.

The sooner this wet gets disendorsed the better. He can then follow his true calling as the Labor for Wentworth.

He's a useless prick.

Yes, Shane B, but even Matty won't put his full support behind Mr Abbott. He declines to answer whether he is 100% behind Mr Abbott.

Thoughts?

LOL good luck with any of those .

Shane B is a qualified economist, Skippy. He's paid good money to have thoughts.

Poor Mal.
He's never gotten over being removed as leader of the opposition, and that he is 'yesterdays man' trying to get his dial in the media.
He should do his long suffering electorate and party a favour and follow his true calling which is being leader of the ALP.
He must think he'll be missed by the Coalition if he walks away or something.

Yet in EVERY poll taken the overwhelming majority of voters want Turnbull to lead the Libs. How do you explain that chookster?

Because Mal is 'nice', and Abbott is effective.

And being 'not nice' and effective beats 'nice' and ineffective every day of the week in my book.
Mal portrayed himself very well when he was the Opposition leader, but he couldn't make headway against the worst Labor government in modern times.
Abbott is another story though.
Mal looks good, but can't do the job.

Maybe. Abbott does a marvellous job as opposition leader.

But the question is whether he will do a good job as PM.

I think he'll be a fine Prime Minister. It's always difficult presenting your views and persona from the opposition.

Julia Gillard - twice selected, never elected.

We're still paying for the Whitlam Government.

Yet the  voters want Turnbull, no matter what spin you put it on it, Abbott is hated even more than a person the conga line of suckholes call the worst PM in history.

Left wingers like Turnbull, that's why his rating for preferred PM is higher.

It's all a ruse though as they would never vote for him. Turnbull's beat chance of becoming
PM is quitting and joining Labor.

How are you unsure on Abbott's views or his persona?
Been under a rock for the past 15 years?

Everyone but you seems to know his ideas on CT, MRRT & Maternity leave it's just when pressed further than "scrap the tax" or we will cover salaries to 150K he gets shakey, I mean it's not as if he hasn't had the opportunity to be heard.
On breakfast telly every 2nd morning, at a small business everyday, do you really think no one would turn up & report a presser if he called one, ESPECIALLY if it was to cover his policy instead of cry about Labor?

No Shane what you've posted is yet another weak excuse for the hollow-man that is Abbott.

The neo cons conveniently ignore Abbotts political career when he was a govt minister.
