Why should more developed countries be allowed to maintain higher levels of pollution?

As the major contributors to the problem shouldn't they carry a larger responsibility for fixing the problem.

That's the Australian way, Avram.

I am talking about fixing the problem - the problem is fixed when you bring down the pollution of the world's worst polluters.

China, USA and India make up half the world pollution. Everyone else is the other half.

From the 3 there, only 1 is reducting or even trying to reduce.

You fix the problem - you hit the ones who is making the most of the problem.
THAT is the Israeli way,

I take my way over yours.

So an Israeli has the right to create more pollution than an Indian? why?

A fair chunk of us live in India. Of course we should expect more pollution from that part of our world. Are you purposely being obtuse.

So if you use this logic, the Falkland Islands, Netherlands Antilles and Qatar are our biggest problems to fix.
We would leave China, building several power plants every week....

Yes this seems sensible?

There is no CT to repeal.

its not going to happen, you can not repeal what never was.

How much CT will you pay Macca - the answer is ZERO - just like everyone else.

What will Greens stand for when the carbon tax is repealed?

The usual tosh that excites 12 years through vapid sloganeering.

Green energy boondoggles, gay rights, whale rights, socialism and punishing the most productive members of society (those of us who pay far far too much tax).

All of the parties must be accountable for policy, its not acceptable that Australia's policy is being developed by faceless corporate planning committees...its unacceptable that it does not matter which party we vote for...The coalition must be made more accountable and transparent when they take Government for decision making...
