They've tried molesting whales and humping trees

They got lucky because of a desperate Gillard trying to hang onto power

But what happens post-2013 when the ALP dump the Greens like a carbon emitting t#rd??!!

There is bipartisan support for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The greens will have no problem finding allies.

Hunt says Coalition accepts IPCC findings

"What does this mean? It means that we need to do practical things that actually reduce emissions."

Everyone in the world wants this.
Unfortunately 2 of the 3 biggest polluters want to increase instead of decrease and make the rest of us all fix it.

Brilliant. Since we both recognise there is a problem how about we focus on a path to solution.

If you had absolute power, Avram, how would you solve this problem?

Every country needs to be 80% of their total 2000 levels and then work down from this point.
Down to 1990 levels etc.

Why should more developed countries be allowed to maintain higher levels of pollution?

As the major contributors to the problem shouldn't they carry a larger responsibility for fixing the problem.

That's the Australian way, Avram.

Abbott was happy to vote with them to protect the rights of refugees. If the cause is right you'll always find allies.

what political planet did you just arrive from? political kindergarten world?? But your biggest naivete is 'the cause id right' when put up by the Greens. Frankly, if the greens support it I would automatically assume it is dumb unless eveidence was given to prove otherwise. They are ideologically driven and wouldnt know pragmatism if they fell on it. And they arent real good on the central idea of democracy (we the voters - a geunine majority - get to choose what we want done in our country)

I am talking about fixing the problem - the problem is fixed when you bring down the pollution of the world's worst polluters.

China, USA and India make up half the world pollution. Everyone else is the other half.

From the 3 there, only 1 is reducting or even trying to reduce.

You fix the problem - you hit the ones who is making the most of the problem.
THAT is the Israeli way,

I take my way over yours.
