The Afghan unit the traitorous, cowardly sh!thead belonged to should be decimated.

Dying doesnt make someone a hero. Nor does volunteering in peacetime to go to another country to kill ppl all for some political agenda.

SOB

Those in Afghanistan didn't volunteer to go there to kill people for a political agenda. They volunteered to join the army to protect Australia. If no one volunteered in peacetime to join the army we wouldn't have a defense force at all.

Do you think Australia should have an army? Think carefully about that answer. If you say;

"yes, we do need an army"... Then how would we get one without volunteers?

However, if you say;

"no, we do not need an army"... Then you're an idiot.

You can question the political reasons behind a conflict without questioning or attacking the people that serve. The people who wear the uniform, and the people who decide where to send them and why, are two different things.

I have never, ever, ever come across anyone as eyewateringly, unspeakably stupid as you. No matter what the topic, you will take a tack that nobody has ever thought of because nobody is a amazingly unmoored as you. It is quite something to behold.

Post away. Amazing.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Protect australia from what? HAHAHAHAHAHA!

As for needing an army - well we dont need one in other countries ATM. Maybe its a good idea to keep one here prepared though. Most of the benefits howard removed from recruits though so theres not a lot of incentive nowadays to join. If we actually did need the military you watch the incentives come back.

Blah blah blah blah. I was only pointing out that they arent "heroes" just because they die and they arent heroes for killing ppl either.

So what one is it? You in one sentence laught like a fool saying we don't need an army to protect australia, and in the next you say it is a good idea to have one.

The fact that people joined the army is completely separate to the issue of them then being sent to Afghanistan. You seem incapable of separating these two points. Not all our forces are over there.

On another point; It is amazing that the same retards that say we don't need an army and we shouldn't send them anywhere, are also the first to cry and whine that we don't have women on the front line. It shows that it nothing but political point scoring with these bastards;

'Those men in the army are murdering animals who shouldn't be over there killing innocent people. These pigs won't get any respect from me... But we should send women over there so they can serve our nation. Stop discriminating against women who want to protect their country.'

Australia doesnt need protecting in afghanistan. Ppl DONT join the army @ this point in time to "protect australia" they join to go and kill ppl in afghanistan. It is not completely separate @ all - its been how long that afghanistan war has been going on?

You have just accused everyone who has joined the army this century of being someone who desires to kill others. You really are a disgusting person.

Many people have joined the army in the last tens years who did not do it to go kill people. Many of these people have not been sent to Afghanistan, and many of them who have gone have not shoot a single person. Learn something and try to retain it this time.

As for your brush off about the rest of my post being dribble, that wouldn't have anything to do with you being caught as a hypocrite and political opportunist would it? If men only join the army to murder innocent people, why would you fight for the right for women to also do this under the argument of wanting to protect their country?

the ones that are too new to go overseas or are in the wrong profession. Most join so they can go fight. Why else would they join? Back just before the invasion of iraq many soldiers left the military so they wouldn't have to go.

There wasnt any "argument" there it was just childish abuse.
