No policies, eh? How about scrapping carbon dioxide tax, scrapping mining tax, resurrecting Pacific Solution to name just a few?
There not policies they are reactions & slogans to makes simple minded people happy.
Seems to have worked

Scrapping CT - OK fine are we keeping all the compensation & tax reforms, if so where's the money coming from
Same with the Mining Tax
You see a policy is just a slogan until a path for implementation is mapped out & discussed with the public.
Then there's funding for said slogan that needs to be found.
Negotiation through both house......ooppps silly me it's Tony's Way or the DD way isn't it.
Every thought bubble done his way to the letter or were off to the polls because he knows whats best for us & well we will back him right?
But you are happy so,
STOP THE BOATS
PYTHON SQUEEZE NOT A COBRA STRIKE
AXE THE TAX
You sad, poor little person. Don't worry, life will be better when Abbott moves into the Lodge next year.
So yet again nothing from AP
Sure posting a Daily Telegraph article no worries
Post a stupid little remark like the one above easypeasy
Ask for a decent thinking response from his own mind, forget it.
Scrapping the carbon tax will not require retention of any amount of compensation, as the compensation is contingent upon there being a tax. This is a Coalition policy that will directly save taxpayers and will enhance Australia's attractiveness for foreign investment, which is currently being scared off under Labor.
The mining tax is also having a negative impact on both investment and jobs, with an announcement this week that a smelter in QLD will be closing earlier than scheduled due to the carbon tax. Scrapping this tax, which is Coalition policy, will make Australia more attractive to investors both here and abroad.
Labor has, since 2007, failed to stop the boats. It has, in fact, made the problem exponentially worse. Each week our Navy transfers the same number of people to Christmas Island that arrived during the entire 5 years of the Pacific Solution. Returning to the policies of the Pacific Solution after years of Labor incompetence on this issue is overdue and has taken the former CDF to get the government to act. This is another Coalition policy.
Okay, I've answered you pretty comprehensively. I await your nonsensical, unintelligent and fault-riddled reply.
Sorry AP missed this, thanks for the effort

Yet Tony has said all compo will continue, you might want to PM him & ask him which way he wants you to jump?

Call me a doubting Thomas but can you link say 2 articles from different financial commentators who can back this claim?
Bolt & Ackerman don't count as they are neither Financial or commemorators, THEY ARE BROADCASTERS like ALLEN

George Megalogenis is one you could quote that I'd believe & he works for the AUS so you shouldn't have a problem with the source.
Quote:The mining tax is also having a negative impact on both investment and jobs
Again proof because everything I've seen suggests strong investment from both local & overseas, but happy for you to post something up which disproves that.

That my friend sounds like a company closing an outdated refinery due to upgrade costs that found something else to blame it on.
But if your happy to take them at their word fine, me Doubting Thomas

Which will therefore see workers super stay a 9 instead of 12%
And will also see company tax rates stay at 30% instead of dropping to 28% & no small business tax breaks
oh as well as a new tax on business for babies, what ever happened to personal responsibility, you want to social engineer then use tax not Private $$$$
Quote:Labor has, since 2007, failed to stop the boats.
True, but factors do play out but hey you wish not to accept them fine I'm not bothered to rehash them.
Suffice to say VERY SHORTLY we will see if the offshore coalition policy works.
What if it doesn't stop the boats?
