The whole Arab world hate each other and you'll find it has more to do with the artificial borders and post colonial lickspittle dictators the west set up across the Middle East and South Asia after world war 2 than anything else.
Israel is just one of many countries in the region locked in a battle of post colonial making.

What's stopping the Arab world joining into one state? Nothing. Only their own in-fighting, which has nothing to do with Western powers.
