Thanks Karnal.
The Bat is right.

Another freemason goes down as predicted in the DP:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/europe/accused-british-cardinal-admits-sexua...

Quote:
LONDON — Cardinal Keith O’Brien, who stepped down as Britain’s highest-ranking Roman Catholic cleric last week amid allegations of inappropriate behavior with priests, backed away from earlier denials and admitted Sunday to committing acts of sexual misconduct.

The admission was a blow to the church’s hierarchy even as cardinals prepare to meet in Rome on Monday to select a date for the conclave to pick a new pope. In Britain, the admission was considered a confirmation of what observers have called a prime example of church hypocrisy, given that O’Brien, 74, emerged as a leading voice against gay rights and had launched a campaign to block the legalization of same-sex marriages here.

Homo freemasons are facing reality in this dimension.

the arrests continue

Operation Fernbridge: Norfolk priest Tony McSweeney arrested

...

A Catholic priest has been arrested in connection with alleged child abuse at a London guest house during the early 1980s, his diocese has said.

Operation Fernbridge is looking at claims that senior political figures and others sexually abused boys at the Elm Guest House in Barnes.

The Diocese of East Anglia said one of those arrested is 66-year-old priest Tony McSweeney, from Norfolk.

The other is a 70-year-old man who was arrested in East Sussex.

The Metropolitan Police said both men have been released on bail pending further inquiries until April.

Scotland Yard said the allegations were not connected with current residents of the former guest house, which has been converted into residential flats.

It is also investigating links between the guest house and the nearby former Grafton Close children's care-home run that was by Richmond Council.

The 70-year-old arrested man, from St Leonards-On-Sea, is understood to be John Stingemore, who used to help run Grafton Close, which closed some years ago.

Priest's arrest on meth charges shocks Conn. diocese

Bridgeport, Conn., Jan 18, 2013 / 03:51 pm (CNA).- The arrest of suspended priest Monsignor Kevin Wallin on six drug charges involving methamphetamine has caused “shock and concern” in the Diocese of Bridgeport, where he once served as pastor of the cathedral parish.

“The diocese stands ready to help as it has throughout the past two years,” the diocese said Jan. 16. “We ask for prayers for Msgr. Wallin during the difficult days ahead for him.”

The Connecticut diocese said that Msgr. Wallin resigned as pastor of Bridgeport’s St. Augustine Cathedral in June 2011, telling parishioners and friends that he was “struggling with a number of health and personal issues.” He was granted a sabbatical in July of 2011.

Msgr. Wallin, 61, was arrested Jan. 3 and charged with six counts of possession with intent to distribute crystal meth. The U.S. Attorney’s Office said the priest is accused of receiving drug shipments from a California distributor and selling them to an undercover officer on six occasions between September 2012 and January 2013.

Priest arrested on rape charges
Principal accused of assaulting young girls
by ucanews.com reporter, Bhopal

2013-02-21 12:52:07

A Catholic priest was remanded into judicial custody Wednesday accused of raping four young girls at a Church-run school in Chhattiagarh state.

Father Vincent Toppo, 40, headmaster at Ashadeep Missionary School, was arrested Tuesday following allegations he raped four girls aged between 6 and 8 years old.

Residents of Kalyanpur village in Ambikapur district had staged a protest and sought action against the priest following allegations from parents. The victims belonged to the Oraon tribal community.

Police brought him to court on Wednesday, where he was remanded in judicial custody until March 7.

A medical examination has confirmed the children were subjected to a sexual assault, Ambikapur Collector R Prasanna, the highest administrative officer in the district, told ucanews.com.

Fr Toppo is also charged with assault, using criminal force on a female with intent to disrobe her, wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation and rape.

Ambikapur diocese officials called the accusations a "political witch hunt."

“It is an attempt to tarnish the image of the Church," Fr Xavier Ekka told ucanews.com.

Several leaders of the pro-Hindu Bharatiya Janata Party (Indian People’s Party) want to discredit the school because the Church is providing quality education to the poor, he alleged.

“We have full faith in the judiciary that we will get justice,” he said, adding that the diocese would fight the case.

The priest has been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, which was passed last year, a police spokesman said.

Wichita Priest Arrested For Sex Crimes

...

A Wichita priest was arrested early Friday and jailed for sex crimes at a local park. Father Doug Campbell, 64, is the pastor at St. Jude Parish in North Wichita.

The news spread very quickly Friday afternoon among parishioners at the church in the 3000 block of North Amidon. Father Campbell was arrested during a sex crimes sting at Oak Park.

Campbell has been the priest at St. Jude for a little more than 10 years. Everybody we spoke to Friday afternoon had nothing but good things to say about him. In fact, they were shocked. Some had not heard the news that Campbell was booked into jail early Friday after police organized the sex crimes sting.

In a statement to KAKE News Friday afternoon, Bishop Michael Jackels said:

"The Diocese of Wichita is cooperating fully with authorities, and will continue to do so, regarding the misdemeanor charges brought against a diocesan priest. This priest has been granted a temporary leave from his ministerial duties to receive counseling and help for his spiritual renewal. I am saddened by this situation. In addition to the common good, I am concerned and will care for the well-being of the priest and his parish."

Meanwhile, police arrested six other people during the sting. One of those people was arrested with Father Campbell at the same time.

"I believe there was undercover and surveillance both used in this incident," said Wichita Police Captain Darrell Haynes.

Campbell was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail at 4:40 Friday morning and posted bail. He was held on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior, public nudity, and remaining in a park after hours. He posted bail shortly after and was released. He has a municipal court appearance scheduled for August 27th.

We did attempt to contact Father Campbell at the parish rectory. As we walked up the driveway, a car pulled out of the driveway. The driver, however, said he was not Father Campbell and refused to speak to us. Nobody answered the door of the residence.

This isn't the first time a Kansas priest has gotten in trouble for sex crimes. Father Dennis Schultz of Seneca, Kansas, was convicted of sexually abusing a 15 year-old boy. He served his time and was released in 2006. Father Robert Larson, of Newton, was also convicted of abusing several teenagers. He is currently on parole after being released from prison in 2006.

It is important to note that these charges against Father Campbell are only misdemeanors and do not involve children.

83yo priest charged with child sex offences
Posted Thu Jan 10, 2013 4:56pm AEDT

MAP: Penrith 2750
Police from a clergy abuse strike force in New South Wales have made another arrest, charging an 83-year old Catholic priest with child sex offences.

Officers say the priest sexually abused two teenage boys at a Newcastle school more than 50 years ago.

The priest was arrested at Penrith in Sydney's west and charged with eight counts of indecent assault with a child under 16 years.

Police from Strike Force Georgiana, based south of Newcastle, had been investigating the man for some time.

The alleged offences happened at a school in the Newcastle suburb of Hamilton in the 1960s.

The man, from Glenbrook in the Blue Mountains, is due to face Newcastle Local Court next month.

Former priest charged with child sex offences

A former Catholic priest has been charged with 25 child sex offences allegedly involving three girls in New South Wales.

The 59-year-old was arrested at a home in Armidale in the state's north this morning.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested as part of Strike Force Glenroe, formed in July to investigate allegations aired by the ABC's Four Corners program.

Detectives questioned him at Armidale Police Station this morning.

Detective Superintendent John Kerlatec told a news conference that the priest would be charged with 25 offences relating to three girls in the 1970s and 1980s.

He said the charges included indecent assault and sexual intercourse without consent.

The priest appeared in Armidale Local Court and was remanded in custody to appear again next month.

Detective Superintendent Kerlatec said the alleged victims had expressed their relief over his arrest.

"I think it was a sense of relief in respect that police were able to firstly listen to what they had to say, investigate the allegations they've raised and take the matter to some point of finality," he said.

"I do stress the matter is before the courts, so the matter is not final."

He said police were also investigating allegations of a cover-up.

"It's certainly early days in regards to (any alleged cover-up)," he said.

"We are interviewing many people, listening to many commentaries and statements, and again we welcome anyone with any information to please come forward and please contact Crime Stopper."

Detective Superintendent Kerlatec said the alleged offences were geographically spread throughout regional NSW.

The Bishop of Armidale, Michael Kennedy, has released a statement in which he says the diocese will offer its "full cooperation and assistance" to police in their investigations.

"I am not able to comment any further as this is a matter rightly being dealt with by the NSW Police," he said.

"I again take this opportunity to extend my deepest sympathy to victims of child abuse and their families, and reassure the community of my commitment to see justice achieved."

No, Light, that was meant to be in February.

I’ve learnt from long experience that, in your threads, there is no ending.

A bit like life really. We never notice the big shifts and only see  the trivial.

Ah, freewill Whichever creator thought we were ready for that needs to go back to the drawing board.

By Eric Allison THE GUARDIAN:

"As a prison correspondent, few stories have angered me as much as the abuse of young detainees by Neville Husband. We were alerted to this horror story by a powerful no-budget film, Adam Rickwood and the Medomsley Heroes, produced by Pie and Mash Films. It was never broadcast but is available on YouTube. It is a long and angry account of the anguish caused by Husband, exacerbated by the system that protected him. It does not make comfortable viewing. Those who betrayed the boys in their charge ought to be made to watch it."
