I hope all those people that were having a go at Gillard for lieing now come out and blast Abbott for the same thing ... failure to do so will show them up as the hypocrites they are.

You seem to have no problem with Gillard being a habitual liar, far worse than Abbott. The difference is that Gillard is in power and is breaking promises that affect us all
now
and we are powerless to do anything about the effects of those broken promises. Abbott is not yet in power and so if he does break any previous promises they have no effect on us now but you can do something if you feel wronged, by voting for someone else. Gillard's behaviour is reprehensible in the highest degree.

Not bldy likely. Did he say 'there will be no' and then do it anyway to gain power. If not, then you are likely to remain upset.

So you have no problem with the thousands of jobs that will be lost due to the carbon tax, or the thousands of jobs that will not be created because of both the carbon tax and mining tax scaring off investment in our country? By the way, we're a very long way off a fossil fuel free world. Probably not in either of our lifetimes unless there is a major leap in technology because solar, wind, hydro and other forms of renewable energy are far too inefficient and expensive to be used on the scale that would be required to provide electricity to a city even the size of Launceston.

So he is not allowed to change his mind about something between now and the election if circumstances change? If he does so, does that make him a liar?

Denial is a beautiful thang. You guys have zero clue on what the public is thinking or feeling about Gillard and her lie.

Bask in your stupidity while you can.
