What describes Greens_win best?

A. Pissing into the wind?

B. Pushing shite up hill?

C. Up shite creek in a barded-wire canoe?

Undecided

Personal abuse usually reflects an inability to debate the topic because the party thinks their side has already lost the debate.

Correct?

the green_goober has set even lower standards for his debating today with this. Maybe he thinks he might be mistaken for a feral pig himself?  then why not have a BATH!

Good to see you have RAISED your standards of debate.  Tongue

What's a "barded-wire" canoe? Does it recite poetry over the phone as you paddle?  Grin

Seriously, Fatty has taught us that the price of the electricity infrastructure in NSW is some bullets. How cheap a price is that for our crucial infrastructure?

The Greens do it so well so why can't you take it when it's dished up to you?

An interesting point of law

(1) If you beat someone up - it's against the law

(2) If you defame someone - it's against the law

Yes I know - defamation is an arbitrary judgement made by the courts.

But an assault judgement is also made by the courts

maqqa, do you support the sell off of electricity assets so the private buyers can hike up electricity prices just to increase profits.

Do you support higher electricity prices for nothing in return?

Should the shooters party be able to be sued, when a bullet sparks catastrophic wildfires in national parks?

So should pyromanics be let loose in national parks, to control feral animals.

Maqqa wrote on Jun 21st, 2012 at 10:38am:
The most heated clash involved the Greens Jeremy Buckingham, who repeatedly goaded Shooters MPs during his contribution to the debate.

Bristling at the attacks, the Shooters Party's Robert Brown threatened the Greens MP with violence after Mr Buckingham accused the Game Council of taking millions in kickbacks.

"I don't have a thin skin but when a guy looks at you and points at you and says onto the record in this house they took a million dollars kickback, to me that is impugning my reputation, mate," an angry Mr Brown said.

"Unfortunately we're in a modern era so I can't take you outside and beat you to death."

It's interesting isn't it?

While I DO NOT condone violence and I condone animal hunting even less - it seems goading someone is perfectly acceptable attack in our society

Yes the MP could have ignored it and taken the matter up later - and yes he was baited and he took the bait.

What this clearly demonstrate is the Greens modus operandi - demonise and verbally abused your opponents.

They are not too afraid of repercussions because they just demonise you with abuse if you dare to speak up with phrases like

(1) Climate deniers
(2) Racists
(3) Killers

This is why I will never support the Greens. Not because they have bad ideals - but they have bad people.

Voters need to understand the difference between ideals, dreams, nightmares and reality

And the nightmares of the Greens are far away from reality as you can get

So anyway... because the guy is too stupid to actually be able to debate (something, by the way, that he's getting paid to do as a living in his job as an MP) it is somehow the Greens fault? Why can't the shooters party just find smart people to represent them?

This is also about the legislation connected.

Do you support Liberals wanting to sell off public electricity assets, and horse trading with the shooters party to achieve this. Resulting in electricity prices rising due to increase profiteering by the purchaser.

Do you support liberals forcing up electricity prices, for no gain to the wider community.

So the Greens support the continuation of indiscrimate aerial bating and trapping of ALL wildlife in national parks?

I'm not a representative for the Greens but... to me, that's a different argument.

The questions are -

IF you believe that shooting of feral animals in National Parks is a good and necessary thing (and it may or may not be) then please explain WHY it was necessary to tie it to the sell off of the electricity infrastructure. Why could it not be done as a stand alone change? Why has it not been done in the past by previous governments of all persuasions?

Compared to the indiscriminate shooting of gun toters that will result in shooting of native animals and likely humans, and the creation of catastrophic wildfires.

So the Greens think it's ok for a family of possums to die an agonising death after consuming bait?
