Y R Liberals Going Backwards?

Abbott's support is collapsing

and

Liberals today continued their slide (primary ~ newspoll)

Are the two connected. Is Abbott dragging down the Lib primary vote?

It is a reflection on the $5billion labor spent to buy a couple of % of votes. Pretty expensive.

And the tide continues to turn against Abbott

El Nino tipped to form in spring

Australia looks set to experience the same weather conditions this year that were responsible for the nation's last devastating drought in the summer of 2009.

The weather bureau say all of its models are pointing to an El Nino weather system forming in October.

Typically, El Nino weather events mean drier conditions across Australia, and despite the plentiful rain along the east coast over the past week, there are still large areas of the country that still have below-average rainfall.

Abbott's carbon policy is a dud scheme. It will be revealed as voters turn their attention to Australia going back into drought.

Abbott has dragged the Libs into a corner. As Abbott's support continues to drop, so will Libs.

Because Abbott is holding the Libs back.

Pretty hard sell if you are going to go into it expecting the dumb Australians not to know what an el nino is.

So is it Abbott dragging the Lib's primary vote down?

Or is it something else?

Why do the Greens and ALP call Bio Ethics and a Permanent Communist Purge, economy based on 19th century philosophy progressive?

Surely Liberal supporters must have thought this out ... why is your support base collapsing?

Is it Abbott, or is it something else.

It's definitely an interesting question that calls for an answer

The fact is according to the latest Morgan poll the LNP Primary vote is LOWER than it was at the last Federal Election, which as we'll all remember they did not win.

Given fewer people are now inclined to give their number 1 to the LNP where do they think they're picking up enough preferences to get them over the line on a 2PP basis?

Food for thought

It must be the Abbott influence and that is why the Right refuses to discuss.

So Abbott is holding the Liberals back ... and probably enough to lose the next election.

They are in some amazing denial. Several of us have said repeatedly that we'd consider voting for the coalition but never under Abbott but they don't want to hear it. It's good to see some numbers supporting that position.
