In what way is the Labor number the Coalition's responsibility??

Fee free to speak slowly and with lotsa highlights because the point escapes me completely and I would be fascinated to learn if you can pin that responsibility on them in any way.

Oh, by the way, fook off - I have been saying all along that leaping outa the chamnber neutralised Thomo's vote insofar as it would have benefited the Coalition, so don't start inching towards pretending that it was your point.

Why didn't Abbott and Pyne just casually cross the floor and vote with Labor instead of bolting for the door like a couple of frightened gazelle?
They're obviously not the brightest of sparks despite their exclusive private schooling.

Ahhh... you poor doddering old fool. I didn't pin responsibility on the opposition. Nor did the government. That honour goes completely and solely to the gRabbott and Run opposition who demanded the government deny Thomson's vote.

Well grAbbott got his chance to do the deed and he failed abysmally. Like the hypocrite he is, he failed to live up to the demands he makes of others. Again.

It has the same effect as running for the door except it proves their point a lot better and is way more professional if all they are doing is nullifying Thomsons vote

In fact crossing the floor is the ONLY way to nullify Thomson's vote as my earlier posts showed. But the penny still hasn't dropped with you has it?

If grAbbott wanted to nullify Thomson's vote then he should have crossed the floor. But he's a hypocrite so it's no surprise that he didn't.

You are not bright enough for these games. You had better leave the adults to this, you may get upset.

So why not just cross the floor?

Well if you see the game being played by labor, as Abbott may have, then you do not side with them. That is the win win for the game starter. You go out the door as if you did not play, but at the same time you win because you nullified thomson vote.

To simply say
"We will not accept Thomsons vote so if he crosses the floor we will send one of our members across the floor to nullify his vote"
is much simpler and professional than running head long into a closed door.

Or in other words, you don't play. Instead you go out the door and fail to nullify Thomson's vote.

Only question I have is do you take your bat and ball when you go home lolly? Do you want to ask an adult what the answer is?
