If they are unacceptable to Muslims, don't bother. Israel is a sovereign country, a recognised member of the UN. Take that as read.

I think equal consideration should be given to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The victims are still suffering today. What about our diggers who were slaughtered - and the innocent Germans and Europeans who were all victims too of a political war.

Agreed the people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki deserve the status jews have received about 100x more, and there are plenty of others. Anyone who has used such horrible events for leverage and guilt to commit just as bad crimes should be stripped of their innocence.

I am pointing out that I find it distasteful that anti-semitism that has sprung up on this board - mainly from PoliticalPuppet but others too.

It is not acceptable and at times is even illegal racial insulting.

It is acceptable and legal in Australia to express a little hostility towards the Jews, Muslims, aborigines, Africans etc who have all experienced an equal amount of suffering over the centuries.

Why should the Jews be a protected species and immune to insult and criticism?
